Airport Terminals

There are 5 operating airline terminals At JFK Airport, Terminals 1 to 8. Terminals are located around the central terminal area (CTA). JFK’s terminals are independently operated and not connected internally, so passengers must exit one terminal to reach another. All terminals are connected by the free AirTrain JFK

Terminal 1

  • Primarily international airlines mainly serves flights to Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
  • Key airlines operating  include Lufthansa, Air France, Korean Air and Japan Airlines.

Terminal 4

  • Large international hub.
  • Busiest terminal at at the airport.
  • Wire range of lounges, shops, and restaurants.

Terminal 5

  • Regional flights and JetBlue’s main terminal.
  • One of the most user friendly terminal at the airport.

Terminal 7

  • Compact terminal with small international and domestic airlines.
  • Operated by British Airways and other international carriers.

Terminal 8

  •  American Airlines and Oneworld Alliance partners.
  • Operates domestic flights and international routes.

Terminal 2 

  • Terminal is closed
