When you enter the airport
When you enter the airport area follow signs for rental car returns to Avis. There is an Airtrain stop closeby that will take you to all terminals, Jet Blue is T5.

Is there a rental company from which I can rent a car to go from JFK to Toronto or is the border the limit?

I've rented cars from most
I've rented cars from most major companies for trips north of the border and have had no problem as long as you return to the original rental location, no one way trips. You should let them know you are crossing the border when you make a reservation and they'll tell you if there are any restrictions.

Hi,
i rented a car from National. I'm staying at the Salisbury hotel, and was wondering what the best way is to get to there.
I can't seem to locate where i have to be, because i cant find Bldg 308, federal circle when trying to add it to my gps.
So, how do i get there ?

From your hotel go east on 57th St. to 2nd Ave., turn right and follow to the Queens-Midtown Tunnel (toll)which will put you on the LI Expwy I-495 East. Follow to the Grand Central Pkwy. east and then Van Wyck Expwy. I-678 south to JFK and follow the signs for car rental returns.

Avis not answering the phone today
If you've been trying to call Avis today (5/10/2010), they are not answering the phone, or perhaps the phone isn't working. I'm *guessing* it's a real phone system problem, but there's apparently no way to get hold of them at the moment. Even the central office is unable to contact them.

Yes, you can rent/drive with India Driving License.
"NYS recognizes your foreign driver license if you remain a resident of the nation that issued the license. You do not need to have a NYS driver license to drive in NYS unless you become a resident of NYS."

Hi, I rented a SUV from Dollar rent a car Co. at 22nd April at 22nd str.address.
I will drive from Washington DC to JFK Int.Airport at 1st. of May and return the car. But I can't find the Dollar rent a car return address at JFK Int.
