I would not bank on it because the KLM website says that the airline is recommending rebooking flights for after the 21st at no cost to the traveler.
Check their website for updates.

Will the Belgium flights out of jfk resume Saturday?

I am planning on returning home from Orlando to the UK via JFK on American Airlines. I have a 4 hour lay over. Obviously this is enough time for clearing customs etc, but is there anough time to do anything else outside of the airport? Is there anything nearby?

I don't really fancy staying in an airport for 4 hours!

Cheers.

I would advise against getting out of the airport. It's a bit of a travel to get into the city. The four hours will go by quickly given that you are changing planes including likely terminals. It might take you an hour to get to your gate for the UK flight. Boarding usu. begins about 30-45 minutes before departure for international flights. If you leave the airport, it might take you almost an hour to get into the city, another hour to get back. Then you'll have to go through the entire security procedures again. You would be cutting it really close and might be able to spend less than an hour in the city. Not worth risking missing your flight. The other question is when you are scheduled to fly back to the UK. If this coming week, then you need to check whether your flight is canceled b/c of the volcanic eruption in Iceland.

You will have even more time than you counting to - there is no need to clear customs when you coming from Orlando and going to UK.
Are you looking for shopping nearby or sightseeing?

I am planning on travelling in September. My connection gets in from Tampa at about 13.55 with my connecting flight to the UK leaving at 19:45. Therefore I will actually have a longer lay over than I first thought. Will I therefore have enough time to do any sight seeing? If so what is within easy access i.e. taxi drive?

Cheers

hi, i am travelling from the uk to philadelphia on 4th june. id just like to know the best/cheapest way to get there from jfk airport. im thinking about getting the amtrak from penn st station. is it easy to get there from the airport without using a taxi? what would a taxi charge for this service? also, im returning the following sunday, is public transport affected on sundays? thank you.

I would definitely not bother with a taxi! You can take an Airport Express bus, which usually leaves from the ground level. Recently I took the bus from LaGuardia into Grand Central (city center) for 5.00! I imagine it'll cost you about 15 dollars to take the bus to Penn Station where you can hop on the train to Philly. Philly is only a couple of hours from NYC.

This is the absolutely cheapest way. Get to Penn Station using the Airtran ($5) towards Jamaica, then take the subway ($2.25) E train to Penn Station New York. Then take the Boltbus ($13) to Philly. The bus has Wifi (and I am not paid to write this) and probably of the same time that the Amtrak takes you.

Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then either:
-take subway line E to Penn Station or
-take LIRR to Penn Station(faster but more expensive)

Taxi would charge you flat rate of $50.50(not per passenger but for the whole taxi).

Public transportation is working on weekends.

LIRR has so called City ticket on the weekends - it is cheaper and you can use it for your ride from/to Penn Station.

Cheapest way from JFK to Philly:

Airtrain to Jamaica Station ($5/10min)
Subway (E) to 42nd Street in Manhattan ($2.25/45min)
Greyhound bus from Port Authority to downtown Philly (~$20/90min)

Faster (but more expensive) way:

Airtrain to Jamaica Station ($5/10min)
LIRR to Penn Station (~$8/25min)
Amtrak to downtown Philly (~$90/75min)

DoeS any one know that Air India flight to Delhi AI 102 is canclled for today ?
