Has the Makeover been completed? Are delays anticipated into 2011? Thanks

Almost - there is still minor work which will continue throughout the next year but it should not affect the normal business.

Hi! I am catching a 1:55PM flight on Cathay (Terminal 7) on a Monday in November. I am thinking of flying JetBlue and arriving at 12PM. Do you think I have plenty of time to go to Terminal 7, wait in line to check-in, and catch the plane on time? I will NOT be checking in luggages.

(mostly worrying about any flight delay or long line for international check-in at that time...?)

You should not have problems assuming Jet Blue is on time. Take Airtrain , on the third floor of T5, on track 1 - next stop is T7. It is only 1 min free ride.

My elderly parents are arriving in Terminal 7 this afternoon. I know I park in Orange parking, but since they're both in wheelchairs, what's the best way to help them get their baggage, get back to the car and meet them to pick them up? Is there a passenger pick-up area that I can take them to with their luggage and then run and get the car?

my fkight is on 14 october 2010 to jeddah. i will arrive from atlantic city to new york using the bus which arrives at the port authority bus terminal. i would like to know the distance between the bus terminal and the airport???? shall i take a taxi??? how long will it take??? how much shall i give him????

Taxi fare is $45 + tolls. Tip is generally 15% depending on level of service. Takes about an hour from midtown.

On December 19 I will arrive at JFK around 11 PM. My connecting flight to San Juan, PR will leave December 20 around 6:55 AM. First question: during the lay over am I allowed to leave the airport and pay a visit to NY? Second question: I am not sure if my flight from London arrives at the same terminal as my departing flight to San Juan. Will I need to collect my luggage and check it in again at JFK?

You are allowed to leave the airport and pay the visit to NY.
Which airlines are you flying on? Knowing that will help us telling you the terminals.
Since your first flight is international, you have to collect your bags, go through US customs and then re-check them again.

My mother and daughter(2Yrs) are travelling from JFK to HYD(India), I would like to walk with them till flight departure gate(inside), Is it possible? if so, what is the process to obtain permission/ticket?

Thanks,Ravi

Most likely, not, since your daughter is accompanied by an adult. Double check with the airline if they will give you a gate pass anyway.

Hello,

I would like to know if there are any courier services like Fedex in Terminal 3. Thank you very much

How long before departure should I arrive at JFK from Manhattan for check in. Is the traffic bad on Saturday morning . How long should I allow for the journey.

Thanks Margaret
