Taxi fare to New Jersy,Mount Laurel

Please let me know the Taxi Fare from JFK to Mt Laurel , New Jersey

That's a pretty long and probably very expensive taxi ride as Mt. Laurel is in southern NJ near Philly. You might be better off taking public transportation (LIRR or E subway) to Penn Station, take Amtrak to Philly and a cab to Mt. Laurel from there.

As per http://nyc.taxiwiz.com/ :
"That cab ride would cost about $210.10. That is roughly $242 with a 15% tip. It is about 101.0 miles."
That is an estimate.

Okay, I am new to the NY travel. I have a flight that takes me into Newark; however, my connection is out of JFK. I have not done this before, is this common? What is the best way to go from one to the other? Also, will I need to get my checked luggage and take over to JFK?

Thoughts? Advice?

Thank you and God bless.

You need to get your bags from Newark and check them in at JFK. You can take either shuttle from Newark to JFK($30,~2-2.5hrs travel time) or a taxi(~$90-$100,~1-1.5hrs travel time). Make sure you have enough time(>4hrs) between the flights.

I need to get a flight on JFK to Brazil at terminal 3 (delta). I am coming to JFK on a Jet blue flight (still to book).

My understanding is that I will need to get my luggage, change terminals, check in at delta (at terminal 3), and then get into security all over again. Is that correct?

If so, how many hours do I need to safely do this connection (it is a Saturday night flight leaving at 10pm.

You are absolutely correct about the procedure.
The only thing - see if Jet Blue can check your bags all the way through Brazil so you don't have to pick them up here, at JFK.It cuts down the transfer time by at least 30 minutes.
Give yourself at least 2-3 hours between the flights to make your transfer safely and on timely manner.

when arriving from Washington Dulles and depart to Iceland (with Iceland air) do we need to go to another terminal? How much time will that take us?
Tomax

Hey Tomax,
Which airlines are you flying on?
I will assume you will be coming from Washington on US Airways or United and departing to Iceland on Iceland Air. In this case you do not have to change terminals. All of the above mentioned airlines operate at Terminal 7. Let me know if the case is different.

we fly with Delta airlines from Washington, is that the same terminal too? Do you think we can check in our luggage in Washington already for our flight to Iceland? How many time will we need at JFK for transfer?

Delta from Washington will fly you in Terminal 3 at JFK. Use Airtrain to go to Terminal 7. Check with Delta if it is possible to check your bags straight through Iceland.
You will need 2-2.5 hours(in your case) to transfer without worries at JFK.

we are italian, after few days in nyc we will go to bermuda.we will come back from bermuda on saturday 15th may 2010 15.00pm jet blue and we will flight to milan at 05.25pm american airlines, we would like to know if we have enough time and if we have to pass the immigration control again.
thanks a lot.claudia

Hi Claudia,
You do have enough time to make the transfer.
On you flight back from Bermuda you will clear immigration procedures in Bermuda.
You do not go through US immigration when you leave USA. You do go through security check(at Terminal 8, American Airlines) though.

so it means that coming from bermuda to usa I don't need to pass trough us immigration to enter in usa, because i need to pick my bag and make check-in to milano.thank for your attention.claudia

You pass US immigration in Bermuda, which makes your task easier here , in JFK.
