Thank you

For your answer, but i forgot to tell you im coming from europe whit lot airlines and after i have a different ticket whit united.this i`m confuse where to leave my luggage

Then the only way is to take your luggage with you to T7 and check it in there.

Right after you exit customs hall turn to your left(there is a yellow sign as well) and you will see Connecting flights counters. Locate the one of the airline that brought you from Europe and transfer your bags there. Then go up to the third floor and take Airtrain on track 1 and get off second stop at T7. You can also take the bags with you and check them in at T7.

Hello, I will be arriving at JFK next friday at 4pm. i will have to go to my hotel in upper west side (Manhattan valley). Could you please advise
1-The approx cost of a taxi?
2- The best way by public transportation and the corresponding cost ?
3- Where can I buy the weekly subway ticket?
4- I have the visa in my old passport (is still valid),now I am issued a new one, so I have to travel with both passport with those two passport ,may I know what are the procedures to be followed when access
Thank you very much !

1- Yellow cab will cost you flat fare of $45 plus $5.50 toll for the whole taxi.
2- The cost of getting there by public will be $7.25. The easiest way to get there is take Airtrain on track 1 to Howard Beach Station and then take subway A direction Manhattan to Columbus Circle where you can transfer to either B or C line direction uptown. Get off at 103rd street stop.Walk north two blocks on Central park west and make left on W106th street. Two blocks down (on the intersection with Columbus Ave ) is Manhattan Valley.
3- weekly subway ticket can be bought at Howard Beach (or any) subway station
4- I believe the immigration officer will give you instructions on what you have to do in this situation.

We have a flight leaving on Sunday (May 30 th) at 6:20 p.m. from JFK to London (LHR) with British airways.
At what time we shall leave our hotel (located in Manhattan, near grand central, using a limosine-service)?
British airways announces , that check-in counters will be closed 2 hours prior to depature.

Thanks

There is a lot of traffic at that time going out of the city. Leave the hotel at 2pm-2:30pm.

Thanks for information.
I thougt, on sunday´s traffic would be not so busy...

My bad, I did not see that the date fall on Sunday. And you are right - Sunday's traffic is usually lighter.

I have a flight leaving on a Tuesday Morning (1st June) at 8:10am from JFK to SFO- what time will I need to leave my hotel by? Hotel is in Times Square area.
Thanks and regards

You need to be at the terminal at least 2 hours prior to your flight departure. If you are taking taxi from your hotel, leave no later than 5am.Give yourself more time if you are taking public transportation.

Hi,
this is my first time traveling alone and I was wondering what is the total amount of checked baggage I am allow to have?
also, what is the most convenient way to get to JFK airport if I'm traveling on the A train line from Broadway Junction in brooklyn:
Lefferts Blvd-Ozone Park station and take the Q10 bus or get off at Howard beach and take the air train?

Thanks!
-Landry

Hey Landry,
Different airlines have different standards about the bags. It is better to contact your airline regarding that question.
Second question - if you have a lot of bags I would suggest you to take Airtrain route(Q10 bus sometimes can be very crowded). The best side of the second option is that the ride to JFK will cost you only $2.25.
