hi..... is there any facility in JFk to assist passengers (who does not know English) during customs and baggage claim?

No, there is no such a service.Yet , there are no passengers stuck in immigration or customs due to language barrier.

I am picking up a passenger from an AF3660 (also known as DL0107). Flight status says that the flight arrives in Terminal 3. However, every other time I've picked up passengers arriving from Germany, I've picked them up at the International Terminal 1 even when another Terminal has been indicated for the flight. Can you tell me which Terminal AF3660 (DL0107) will actually arrive at tomorrow 6/16/2010? thanks!

AF3660 (DL0107) will actually arrive at Terminal 3, area C. The flight is operated by Delta and code shared with Air France.

hello,i'll come from Turkey to Jfk on this monday.then i have a connection fligt to Norfolk, VA.
what is the best way to get from terminal 1 to terminal 3(domestic lines).
thank you...

walk

Since you are flying on Delta to Norfolk you can go to Terminal 2; It is also Delta Terminal and you can check-in there as well. Terminal 3 is only 5 min walking distance from Terminal 1.

Hello,
I am coming from Los Angeles with United Airlines and I have a connection flight to Turkey with Turkish Airlines.
What is the best way to get to Terminal 1 from Terminal 7 and normally how long does it take?
Thank you in advance

Take the Airtrain across the street from T7, on track 2. You will be at T1 in 5 minutes. The train is free between terminals.

Hi,

My mom arrives into terminal 1 from Germany on Lufthansa and has several hours before her flight on American back to LAX.
It is not clear how she deals with her luggage if they are clearing customs at JFK? Does she pick up her bags and is there a tranfer counter for American in the same terminal. or does she have to carry them get on AirTran and take them all the way to terminal 8 to recheck them?
Thank you!

She has to pick up her bags at T1 in order to go through customs there. Immediately after that she can transfer the bags over to her next flight on AA at Lufthansa connecting flights counter.
If she choose to she can carry the bags all the way to T8 and recheck them in.
