HI ,,
I am going to a business trip to Orlando FL.
i'll be arriving (on American Airlines) from London, at Terminal 7 at 11:00 am. my flight(on American Airlines) will depart at 3:20 pm(at terminal 8) to Orlando INTL FL.
My question is:
Since this is a transit situation, just for connecting flights, do i have to go through security and custom immigration when i arrive in NY? or just in Orlando?
How long it takes to reach Terminal 8 from terminal 7 ?
do i need to collect my luggage? or the AA will reconnect my bags?

Hello! How long is the distance between T7 and 8? How long would it take to get from one to another - by foot or by train?

Will I have enough time to arrive at 7:05PM from Madrid with Iberia to Terminal 7 and make it to Terminal 3 for a Delta flight to DCA at 7:59PM, booked separately? Or would it be better to book an LGA flight that leaves at 8:50PM to IAD? Could I make either of those?

Hello, thank you in advance for any advice. Flying BWI to terminal eight domestically, then to Sydney from terminal seven. If all flights are on time I've a two hour and 36 minute layover. So the questions are: is that enough time to make the international flight? Will I have to claim and recheck checked luggage or is that done from my domestic starting point through to Sydney? Am I exposed to the elements in transit from eight to seven? I ask this last because I'd like to keep my winter coat here in the states but don't want to freeze at Kennedy. Thank you again, much appreciated.

Hi,

I'm flying in from Tokyo (originally from BKK) to JFK on a Thursday in June at 10:45 am. Would I have enough time to pick up my luggage, get through customs, and get driven (I have a ride with family) to LGA for a 2:35 domestic flight from LGA to Minneapolis? It's a 4 hour layover, which seems like enough time, but I'm not sure what Terminal 7 customs tends to look like in the morning. Thanks for the advice!

If I arrive Terminal 4 at 5:29pm from SFO, what's the earliest appointment I should schedule at the Global Entry Enrollment System office in T7? Available appointment times are 6pm, 6:20pm, 6:40pm, 7pm, 7:20pm, 7:40pm. Thank you

Hi,

My daughter is flying to Ireland on British Airways flight 0116 on Monday 1/16/12 at 8:35pm. She will be arriving at JFK from Syracuse on Delta flight 3763 at 7:04pm. Will she have enough time to get from 3 to 7, clear any security and make her 8:35 flight?

Hi Otterguy. I believe BA116 flies into London-Heathrow. She will have to hurry because you never know if the flight gets in later. If it arrives on time, she will take the AirTrain to Terminal 7, and the check bags, clear security etc. Glad I could Help!

She should have plenty of time provided she's carrying one. The airtran runs between terminals and is really pretty simple to navigate

My daughter is arriving at 8:00 this evening, December 25 at Terminal 7. She cannot afford a hotel. Her next flight leaves terminal 4 on the 26th, early afternoon. Where can she "camp out" safely? Is terminal 4 open 24 hours, and will security allow her to stay there for almost 18 hours? Will there be open places to buy food outside of security? (She is meeting an Israeli tour group at the El Al counter on the 26th, and they have her Boarding Pass.)

We have a friend coming in from Sweden tonight, Dec 23, 2011, on FLT 615 into JFK. The time of arrival keeps bouncing, I guess because of weather. It was originially to land at 5:55pm but got off late. How long "might" it take to get through customs. He is suppose to get a taxi, or NY Airport shuttle to Port Authority for an 11 pm bus. What do you think chanches are? Thanks and Merry Christmas

I am traveling into nyc from providence the night before my flight from jfk. I will arrive at port auhoriy oat midnight. With at least 6 hours to spare between arriving in the city and flying back home, where should I go in the middle of the night? Are the airport lounges open throughout the night? I just need a safe place
