Air Berlin FLR-DUS-JFK lost luggage
Hi
My bag was lost on Monday 17 July on AirBerlin flights from Florence to Duesseldorf / Duesseldorf JFK.
AirBerlin informed me on Twitter that my baggage was scheduled to arrive at JFK on flight AB 7480 at 7:55PM yesterday (20 July).
I have not received any phone call yet to confirm this. Can someone check if the baggage has arrived at JFK? Happy to pick it up myself. Thank you.
Lost luggage: can I get a working phone contact?
I was on a flight from Copenhagen via Düsseldorf on the 18th of July. Since then my baggage is missing. The agent at the airport did not fill the form properly so I am missing the file number that would allow me to track it. The phone number that was given to me is not working ( nobody is answering and impossible to leave a message). The phone number above is always busy. I need to contact a person from the Air Berlin desk at JFK please. After talking to several people, it seems that it is an habit for Air Berlin to loose luggage on transatlantic flights. Never again.

Lost Luggage
Air Berlin lost my luggage on a flight from Florence to NY connecting through Dusseldorf on July 11. It has been over 5 days since I filed the claim with the people at JFK and I have heard nothing from them. No one picks up when I call the number provided (718-244-0921). Is this normal? I have had luggage lost in the past and both times got it back the next day. Can anyone please provide any help or advice?

Air Berlin lost my luggage 2 days ago when I flew from Florence to JFK, connecting in Dusseldorf. I was told to call Omar at 718-244-0921. I have called many times but no one picks up and the voice mailbox is full. I spoke to someone at Air Berlin who told me I could track my bag online - this service asks for a 10-digit reference number, and of course there is no such number on my claim ticket.
At this point I'm completely in the dark with little faith that these people are actually doing their job to track down my bag.
Does anyone have any advice or information they can offer?

6 days of waiting for luggage to magically appear via baggage express no phone numbers work, web tracker system does not work. No one can point me to my luggage or if I will see my stuff again...NO CUSTOMER CARE. I drove 2 hours back to JFK terminal 8 floor 1 and Found my luggage. The security guard there. #airberlin #airberlinsucks

I flew from AUH-DUS-JFK line on 07/08/2017 and at JFK my bag has been lost at terminal 8. This is my 3th day without my personal items. My carrier tag number: 4607 EY739946, color: blUE And PNR: RQQQCQ . Ive tried the number I was given by terminal 8 AGENT(1 718 24 0921), but I received no answer from this number, I tried sending emails but there has been none to answer my calls.
Please contact there is any chance to get it found

Air berlin Sucks
it has been 3 weeks since Air Berlin has lost my Luggage and they are no help whats so ever. They keeps sending me every where to get my luggage but i keep hitting dead ends, they give me phone numbers that are constantly busy. if anyone has had any success with this airline pleases let me know. This airline is a disgrace.

checked in 2 black guitar cases fixed to each other with tape, clear foil, some cardboard.
i guess it was not loaded into the plain and is still in jfk.
AB 7248 July 6 lost luggage
I cannot contact anyone at JFK Air Berlin, and AB in Germany will not deal with me because I was not given a claim number on the lost luggage form at JFK. Is there any news on the bags that did not arrive with this flight on Thursday. There were around 20 people that did not get their luggage. Thank you.

Hi,
My baggage did not come to JFK on Monday, July 3rd, flight AB7248., Terminal 8. I went to the airport today and i found the bag. There are like 200 bags there that are lost. If you did not get your bag this week, go to JFK yourself. They wont deliver the bag in like two weeks with the mess they have.
I tried calling 718-244-0921 that they gave me at the time i reported lost baggage like 100 times and nobody picks up. They know that we are calling but they dont give a damn.

Air Berlin lost my bag from Dusseldorf to JFK two days ago.
I was told that someone would contact me yesterday - no one did.
I was given the number 718-244-0921 and told to contact someone called Omar who does not seem to pick up the phone.
I am not sure what more to do or who to call.
