Hello! Me and my husband arrive at JFK Terminal 1 on Lufthansa from Frankfurt, Germany at 12:55. We need to change aircraft, to US Airways flight to Phoenix at 16.20. (as I have seen, they are on T7). Flights have been booked separately at different companies, so if time is not enough, we will be in big trouble. Is 3 hours enough time to get our luggage and check-in again, also to go through custom and security check, and get from Terminal 1 to Terminal7?

My sister arrives to Jfk on Aeroflot from Moscow at 5 p.m. and then has a connecting flight at 6:45 p.m. to DFW on Delta. will she have enough time and what steps she has to take? P.S. she doesn't speak English and is traveling with a small child, so most detailed info is very appriciated.

She should be OK as long as her flight is on time. Her first flight will arrive at T1 and second flight will leave from Terminal 2/3 Delta terminal. She will need to clear immigration and security upon entrance to the U.S. She will need to recheck her bags with Delta for her second flight at Terminal 2/3 and clear security there.

What is the approximate connect time from the furthest end of terminal 2 to terminal 8 assuming you are using the shuttle bus and going through TSA. domestic to domestic

Waiting for the shuttle bus and going through terminal 3-8 takes that amount of time. What about TSA(security) and walking time?

I have a two leg trip arriving in terminal 5 and departing from terminal 4 and headed overseas. Will I have to go through security again when transferring between terminal 5 and 4?

I arrive to Terminal 1 and my friend at terminal 4 of JFK at approx. at similiar times. What and where (point of contact) is the best way for us to meet at the airport to leave together toward the Airtrain and the city.
