Best transit Manhattan to JFK airport
I have an international flight sched 04/04 @ 1:30AM. I wanted to know what will be my best transpo options if I will be arriving via Bolt Bus from baltimore ( 33rd and 7th Sbarro)as early as 3pm on 04/03 with my wife, 3 yrold child and 3 luggages?

1)if you don't want to schlep family and bags on public transportation take a taxi-flat fare $45+tolls+tip.
2)NYAirport bus from Penn Station $15 per person.
3)LIRR from Penn Station to Jamaica, walk upstairs to AirTrain and take to terminals. AirTrain is $5 and LIRR is $8.75 peak time/$6.25 off peak.
4)Jamaica-bound E subway to Sutphin Blvd/JFK and AirTrain or Far Rockaway-bound A subway to Howard Beach and AirTrain. Subway is $2.25.
LIRR is faster and more comfort than subway and has overhead luggage racks, although both LIRR trains and subways are crowded during rush hour.

I will arrive from fortlaauderdale at 14:20 on AA, and should take the next flieght by Lufthansa on 13:40. Is that enough time to finish the transiet? that is I do not have checked luggage but only a hand bag???

Looking at your question, your AA flight arrives AFTER the departure of your Lufthansa flight!! Even if you reversed the times, you still will have a very tight, if not impossible connection as you will need to go from terminal 8 to terminal 1 and clear security at T1.

My mom is arriving at Terminal 4 in Qatar Airlines at 3pm on March 23rd. She has to catch Delta Flight From Terminal 2, Gate 20 at 7pm. How can she get to Terminal 2 from Terminal 4? Does she have to carry her bags with her all the way to Terminal 2 or can she Check-In her bags at Terminal 4?
Transiting thru JFK to Mexico city
I am arriving on 24th March morning from Dubai at 7.45 am and have a connecting flight to Mexico city at 9.25 am by Delta.
Do I have to go thru immigration and customs at JFK. I was worried as the transit time is short.

Hi, Im coming from the UK en route to Vegas in May on the friday of memorial day weekend. Bit concerned as my flight gets in at 15:30 and I am supposed to Depart at 18:00. However I have to go through the visa check in etc with a full tourist visa. Following this I have to collect and re check my luggage rather than it be sent straight though.
Can someone tell me if it is reasonable to do all this in 2.5 hours or even less due to hold ups. Dont wanna miss my flight?
