On the listing for AA terminal 8, it says the orange parking lot is closed. Is there shorterm parking at Terminal 8 that is open and walkable with luggage?

Thank you for the help.

I will be flying from JFK late afternoon December 26th. Since this is a busy travel week I was wondering if there will be any problem finding a parking space in the long term lot.

HI, I AM TRAVELING ON OCTOBER 11 IN THE AFTERNOON AND AM COMING BACK ON OCTOBER 16 IN THE EVENING. HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME TO PARK MY CAR IN LOT, PLEASE?

I used the Terminal 4 short term parking on September 28, 2008 and checked out at about 6:55 am.
Upon driving up to EZ pass lane we slowly proceeded to the gate thinking it would open. Even while observing our attempts the attendant never tried to motion to us to drive back or do otherwise. When we finally pulled back to the window the attendant ( N. Derogene as displayed on the name tag) rudely announced that we need to put the ticket into the slot first before the gate would open. I asked not to be addressed in such a rude fashion to which the attendant even more rudely and dismissively told us what to pay and "just go". When asked for her name she stated she did not know what it was.
I am very dissatisfied by the attendant's rudeness and unproffesional behavior and think that this will be a poor experience for other people visiting this beautiful country.
I believe that anyone in a service providing industry should at least display basic courteous behavior and if not able to do so needs to find employ elsewhere.

I have handicap plates; I will be gone from 10/7/08 thru 10/22/08; can I park at the terminal, and pay long term parking rates?

Hello-we coming in on Tursday, wanting the parking for 3 days plus 12 hours. Is this real the fees for 15 dollars a day only and 5 dollar each 8 hour more.

I called the other day, it is $15 a day for long term parking.

I am planning to leave my car in long term parking lot for 7 days. This website lists the Parking rates as:

$15 for up to 24 hours
$5 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours

Is this the correct amount? is the tax included or not?
If not, how much is the tax?

Thanks.

Also, should I make a reservation through AviStar or Airpark? I have never heard of these and was wondering if anyone has any kind of advice. Thanks so much!
