What time does the Etihad counter at JFK open? I need to call and book my limo service. Do you happen to have their number? Thanks

They usually open 3.5-4 hours prior to their flight departure.

Hi,
I arrive at JFK this Thursday from Toronto on a Delta flight at 8:45 am (Terminal 3). I then have to make my way to Terminal 4 for a South African Airways flight to Johannesburg at 11:15 am. Will I need to pick up my luggage and re-check? Or will it automatically transfer through? As I will have already cleared US customs in Toronto, I'm assuming I won't need to clear customs again? I'll have about 2 hours to do all of this and figure out how to get to T4 (unless I land late) - just want to know the easiest way to do it. Many thanks!

Ask Delta in Toronto if they will check your bags all the way through. If yes, then you don't need to pick them up at JFK. You won't need to clear customs at JFK if you coming from Toronto. You have plenty of time to connect - take Airtrain from T3, on track 1 - next stop is T4(1 min ride).

Fantastic. Thank you for your reply!!

We are arriving JFK from Manchester International (UK) flight no DL155 on 25 Sept at 13.55. Then departing JFK on flight no DL209 at 15.45. Do we need to claim our baggage for transfer and how do we navigate from arrival to departure terminals. Your advice would be appreciated.

You need to claim your bags after immigration check and then go with them through US customs. Re-check them in at Delta Connecting flights counter. Immediately after that you will be clearing security and heading to the third floor where the departure gates are located at.

Hi JFK Employee..Couple of questions:
1. Fastest way from T4(Ethiad Airways) to T5 (Jet Blue)?
2. Terminal for delta airlines?
3. Fastest way from delta airlines terminal to T4 (Ethiad)?
4. How many hours prior to flight departure is check in for *domestic departure and *international departure?
Thanks.
Appreciate it.

1. Airtrain on the third floor of T4, on track 1 - next stop is T5. It is only 1 min free ride.

2. Delta occupies 3 terminals - T2,T3 and T4. You can check-in for DL flight at either terminal ; departing gates are as follow:
Gates 1 to 17 - T3
Gates 19-29 - T2
Gates B21-B29 - T4.

3. Airtrain from across the street , on track 1, for one stop.

4. When it comes to Delta , I will suggest you 2.5-3 hours regardless if the flight is domestic or international.

Hi JFK employee,we are arriving on T8 at 12:40PM on SUN 10oct from BRU whit AA171 and have a connecting flight on T8 AA1675 at 2:05PM to SJU! do we have to pick up the luggage, past customs, security and check in again?Do we have enough time?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Yes, you have to pick up the bags and go through customs, and then re-check them in at AA connecting flights counter. Assume the BRU flight will be on time , you should be fine connecting to your second flight. After you re-check the bags , go to the third floor and clear security , then look for the gate for your next flight to SJU.
