Infiormation re; time needed to go from T8 to T 4
I will arrive at Terminal 8 at 1:10 PM, and need to go to Terminal 4 for a flight leaving 3 PM - less than two hours of making the connecting flight.
(a) Is there enough time to do so, pick up luggage, and go to Terminal 4 and check in again ?
(b) Do I have to go through custom and security check-in again at Terminal 8 ?

I beleive there was an observation deck at the airport I was wondering if that is still open? I have been an aircraft photographer for nearly 40 years yet the last time I was there in 2010 I really felt uncomfortable with my camera as if I was acting a bit furtive, and all I wanted to do was to take photos of aircraft. I understand the need to be aware of who and whats going on post that day, but I would still love to either just do it or get permission to do it, so is it possible please?
terminal to terminal with lots of luggage
I have a teenager over 16 who is flying in from Paris at 13:25 on American Airlines with quite a bit of luggage. She is then flying out on Air Canada at 17:20 to Toronto. We are concerned about how she gets from terminal to terminal, where she checks in her luggage for Air Canada and if there is someone to assist her to move the luggage. Is there a porter that can be hired ahead of time? What would you recommend? thanks
Air Canada is at LaGuardia
Air Canada is at LaGuardia airport not JFK. She does however have a good time frame between her flights.
