I think you will have enough time. Lufthansa arrives in Terminal 1 so you will have to clear customs and go to the AirTrain. The train will take you to terminal 4 which Delta operates from.

Have a Nice trip

Hi, I flight from spanish to jfk and arrive to terminal 3. Then I should take I flight to Chicago ohare with aa but I don't know in which terminal.

Which airline are you flying to Chicago? American is terminal 8 and United is terminal 7.

I'm arriving at JFK from Vancouver via Cathay(T7) at 6:10am. And have a connecting flight with AA(T8) to San Juan at 3:35pm. That's about a 9hr layover; do I have time to get out of the airport and explore a little? How long does it take to clear customs? Also, is my luggage checked all the way through to my final destination?
thanks

You will clear US customs in Vancouver prior to departure, no need to do so at JFK. Ask Cathay at check in if your bags will be checked through on AA to San Juan, if not you will need to re-check with AA at JFK. You should have time to explore, just return to JFK at least two hours prior to departure.

I will be arriving from Phoenix to JFK Terminal 3 with Delta Airlines at 3 PM and have to take an international flight from Terminal 8 to London Heathrow (operated by American Airlines on behalf of Gulf Air) at 6 PM.

1. Will I have sufficient time to make the transfer?
2. Will I have to collect my baggage from terminal 3 and transfer it to terminal 8 myself or is there anyway to check it in to my next flight from T8?
3. If I have to transfer it myself, Can I take the baggage trolley on the AirTrain to T8?

Please help as I do not want to end up looking for directions in the last minute.

Thanks in advance.

1. You should have time.
2. You will need to collect bags at T3 and take to T8 for check-in as I don't believe Delta and American have baggage agreements.
3. You can rent a baggage trolley and take on AirTrain, take any train on track 1 from T3 to T8.

thank you!!
your help is much appreciated!!

Hi, I will be arriving at JFK at 4:15 to terminal three and have a flight out of terminal 8 at 6 pm. is this enough time for me to transfer? going from domestic to international. thank you

u'll have to rush but u still in safe zone

We are arriving from Dubai at JFK at 13:50 via Emirates. Our connecting flight leaves at 16:30 via Jetblue. Both flights booked on a single ticket. Would our connection time be enough? This will be in mid-December?

How do we move from terminal 4 to 5? Via Airtrain or walking?

Hi, we arrive at JFK from San Jose CR on the 18th of Jan at 2:55pm. We stay overnight in Queens and then head to Australia on the 19th of Jan at 6:30pm. We would like to leave our check-in bags at the airport to be sent through to Adelaide. Is it possible to leave the bags somewhere safe i.e overnight lockers, or are we able to put them on the plane to go through to Adelaide that early?
Kind Regards,

Luggage must accompany passengers on flights so your bags will not be able to go without you. You can take your chances leaving your luggage at one of the luggage storage facilities, there's one in terminal 4.

I'll be arriving at JFK on an Air France flight from Denver at 4:56pm, and leaving on an Air France flight to Paris at 6:00pm. Is an 1:04 likely to be enough time to make this connection, and will I have to go through security again before getting on the international leg of the flight?

im afraid 1 hour is definately not enough for international connection cause u have to pass through security again and through customs when u'll arrive at jfk.
