Building in front of Delta Terminal 3. In that building there are elevators as well as free air train.

The tricky part is getting to that "building". (I think you mean the structure with the elevator, not really a buliding). You have to walk a long ways with your bags down a narrow winding sidewalk, sometimes being forced into the street by pedestrians. That's what is tricky, and what I wanted to avoid!

On April the 2nd i'll arrive from Italy at T3 with Delta at 12,30. I have to take another flight to Chicago at T8 (American Airlines)at 5,15 p.m. Do you think I have enough time? Should I take Air Train (airline terminal route) on track 2? How will I find the rail station? Thank you

You have loads of time. Take it on track 2 from T3 to T8. Just follow the signs for the air train. At terminal 3 go outside to the next building take an elevator to the 3rd floor and follow the signs.

arriving terminal 5 jet blue..how do i get to airtrain to jamaica station to go to massapequa park on the lirr?

Hello!
We are arriving with Icelandair in terminal 7 at 7:00 pm, and have departure at 9:55 pm with Jet Blue in terminal 5. Is that enough time and what is the best way to travel from terminal 7 to terminal 5?

You have lots of time for a connection. From T7 take any train on track 2 to terminal 5. It takes about 2 minutes.

on JFK website there is a warning that AirTrain will have limited schedule in April and May because of repairs. I'll fly out of JFK on April 20th at 4p.m. What is the alternative route to get to JFK from Penn Station?

JFK should be able to provide shuttles for passengers.

I want to travel from JFK to Penn Station (Times Square) - i know that i need to get the airtrain from JFK to Jamaica Station but which line do i get on from there? 1st time not getting a cab from the airport :)

If my understanding is correct you need to get from JFK to Penn Station. Take any train on track 1.
