Once you arrive at JFK just look for the signs for the Airtrain...Take it on track 1 and get off at Federal Circle stop, then go to the first floor - you will see Hertz office there.
You can leave bags at luggage storage at T4,1st floor(next to Hotel reservation desk).

Hi, I'm coming into JFK for the first time and i have no idea how this works, so i have some questions.

1. What terminal is flight number UA0082?

2. Which car rental company is closest to this terminal?

3. How do we get to the car rental company? Do we just walk?

Thanks for your help.

1.) Terminal 7.
2.) All the rental companies are located at Federal Circle Station.
3.) From there take Airtrain to the terminals - it is free and it only takes minutes to reach terminals.

Thanks! :)
I have one more question...
Which rental company do you suggest for 1 day?

Hertz is a good rental company and they are not that expensive.

How do I get to the NBA store from JFK Airport Terminal 5? Or rather what is the best way to get there?

1. Taxi - flat fare of $50.50 +tip for the whole taxi
2. Airtrain to Jamaica Station and then Subway E to 53rd street stop. The store is right around the corner of 53rd street and 5th Ave. Total cost - $7.25 per passenger.

The NBA Store is on 5th Ave between 52nd & 53rd. Best is to take AirTrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, then the E subway to Lexington/53rd. Walk from Lexington to 5th and turn left. Cost is $7.25 versus $45+tolls+tip by taxi, travel time about one hour.

I will arrive at Terminal 3, JFK at 3pm(scheduled arrival time), and will need to pick up a Hertz rental car at 686 Burnside Avenue, Inwood. Should I take a cab, and how much it costs? Would I have enough time if the pick-up point will close at 6pm?

Probably the best way is to take a taxi - it will be on a meter and it should not be more than $20-$25.
The place is very close to JFK and you will be there in 15-20 mins.

can i rent an harley-davidson in JFK airport?

No motorcycle rentals, only 4-wheel vehicles.

How long does it take to return a car rental from Dollar at JFK? I'll hopefully be arriving around 7pm on a weekday. Just want to make sure I give myself enough time.

Should only take a few minutes to return your car and then 10 minutes (or less) on Airtrain to your terminal.

Can anyone tell me how to get to Airtrain to JFK from Times Square....I assume thru Penn Station - where in Penn Station? Thank you!
