Price list (as of May 1st,2010) for baggage storage only at the facilities at Terminal 1 and Terminal 4.
The prices are per bag, per 24 hours:
Up to 20" - $4
21" - 24" - $6
25" - 26" - $8
27" - 32" - $11
Other(non standard bags, skis etc) - $16

lost baggage
Need Help,
On Monday 9th Aug we should fly JFK - VLC (Spain) with Delta, there was a problem with the boarding and they try to move us to other fly JFK - MAD, they move our baggage to this fly but we could not take this plane either (not enough time). Somebody at the boarding door call to anybody to take our baggage out of the plane because we have to stay in Ny two days more, they told us that baggage will be in terminal 3 zone d. When we arrived to baggage office, the baggage seems not to be there.
Two days later we flighted to VLC, and ask for baggage. One of the two bags flight to MAD and has been sent to us in Valencia, but the other does not appears.
The computer says that the lost bag was in the JFK-MAD plane but not arrive to MAD. I think that the person who recived the calling by the boarding door staff to take the bag out of plane, found just one of them and sent it to terminal 4 baggage zone, that was the terminal of the flight to Madrid (no terminal 3 because in this terminal there was just a shuttle to terminal 4).
So I need to contact with baggage office in terminal 4, the problem is that I dont speak (as you can see) english enough to talk by phone.
Is there any email to contact with them?.

There is a new luggage
There is a new luggage storage facility at T3(Delta), area B. The place is open from 6:30am till 10:30pm.
Cost depends on the size and is between $8-$18.
need to store luggage for two days

i am arriving in jfk on saturday 14th august 2010. i will be getting my accomodation only on monday - i need to store my luggage for couple of days - is it possible to store in the luggage storage.

Do I have to claim and re-check baggages on connecting flight?

Do I need claim baggages and then re-check it when I arrive at JFK?

Delta airline with baggage storage
Hello, I'm leaving from Terminal 2 to go to Burlington, VT and coming back to JFK at T3. When I come back from VT with Delta Airline I need to catch another Delta airline flight at T2 to go to Detroit next day. It is two separate itinerary. I'm trying to figure out which terminal storage might be easier to use. Any suggestion?

The closest baggage storage to T2 is the one at T1. One problem though - the baggage storage at T1 is not 24/7 open; check the working hours on this page and if is not working for you use the one at T4(it is 24/7 open).

Luggage storage
Hi! Our KLM flight is scheduled to leave 7.30 For Amsterdam tonight. We cannot leave our luggage at the hotel, and hope it is possible to store it at the AirPort while spending the last day in the city? How far is it from the storage to the KLM-terminal?

Missing luggage
Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but it was my best guess.
I arrived at JFK on an Air France flight from CDG Paris last Thursday July 29, and my luggage had not yet arrived to claim and recheck for my connecting Delta flight to LAX. I was instructed to make a claim at the Air France desk, but was then told by a Delta employee that I wouldn't have enough time to catch my next flight and that I could make the claim when I arrive in Los Angeles. I spoke with the baggage office at LAX upon my arrival there and would be told my bag would be delivered the next day.
It has now been four days and I still don't have my luggage. I have been in contact with and made claims with both Delta and Air France who have been helpful but not successful in finding my bag.
If my luggage is still at JFK would it have been put in storage? Is there a number I could call to speak with someone at JFK to see if my bags are still there? I would really like to get my luggage back!! Thanks for your help, any information is appreciated.

Lost baggage
How can we check if our lost stroller is not stored at JFK by Delta or Aeroflot? Is there a phone number for unclaimed, lost baggage in JFK for the two airlines?
The stroller was checked in by Aeroflot in Moscow, but never came to Boston with connection in JFK.

The airlines usually check the stroller at the gate. That is where the passenger usually pick up the stroller upon disembarking the plane.
If that is the case and you forgot to pick up the stroller at the gate, then most likely it is in Lost&Found at T1.
Check the lost and found section for the phone number.
