Allow one hour for travel, arrive at least two hours prior to departure.

How much will it cost to travel with a dog? can i bring him on the plane in his bag? or do he have to fly separate from me?

Small dogs can be brought on the plane, but again , you have to check with the airline. Also, different airlines charge differently for dogs(usually around $100).

Hi, my relatives have an international flight from Moscow to Las Vegas that connects in JFK terminal 3 (both Delta). As far as I know, they have to pick up their luggage to go through customs. How do they check in their bags on the domestic flight to Las Vegas? Do they have to go to the main Delta check in desk? Is it outside of the secured area? What signage should they look for (they do not speak much English). Thank you! I appreciate your help!

When they exit customs they can go to the Delta connecting flights counter just outside customs to drop their bags for the Las Vegas flight. If they have boarding pass for the Las Vegas flights they can proceed to security on the departure level and then to their departure gate. They will need to check in if they do not have Vegas flight boarding pass.

I am arriving with Air France or Lufthansa from Europe, then connecting at Terminal 1 to Korean Air flight to Korea. Assuming I have no luggage, can I transfer in 60 min. With AF, i have 65min lay over, and with Lufthansa 75min. Must I go through immigration or simply proceed to transfer desk at arrival? If I use non skyteam flight (LF) I can not get boarding pass in Europe, therefore only possible to get in JFK.

You have to go through immigration here, at JFK; choose the flight that gives you more time to transfer - 60 min is simply too tight. Even Lufthansa is not a SkyTeam member they still may be able to give a boarding pass, it all depends on their agreement with Korean Air.

Hello,

I will have to arrive at JFK on a domestic flight to terminal 8, then must transfer to terminal 7 for an international flight. I have 8 pieces of luggage which would fit on 2 baggage carts. Can I take baggage carts on the Airtrain?
If not I am in trouble as I cannot carry these bags by myself.
Could you please advise? Thank you very much. Mr J.

Yes, you can take the baggage cart on the Airtrain.

I'm leaving on from MSP and landing in JKF, where I only have an hour to change terminals (T3 to T4) and hop on my flight to europe. my luggage will be checked through for me. Will i have enough time? Also will i have to go through security again?

Is your second flight Delta as well? If yes, then you may be able to transfer. If no, then it will be very tight for you.
