Operated by - The airport has been operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey under a lease with New York City since 1947.

After the September 11, 2001 attacks, JFK was one of the first airports in the United States to be temporarily closed.

I will have a night flight Las-Vegas-NY, and only the next day's evening will take the flight back to Moscow... Is there any place in airport in terminal 1 or any other terminal where i can take a quick shower before my next flight?

Look for the lounges at Terminal 4 - they will charge you for that around $40.

Please let me know Terminal 1 duty free shop phone number(alcohol shop)

I ordered a package and tracked through EMS and they said that it was dropped of here at JFKA.. I would like to know if you guys have my package and if so is there any tracking information so that I can know my expected arrival date or is this all just a scam?

hello i am 15 years old i want to travel to california alone what information do my parents have to give jfk airport in order for me to fly out their ?

I will travel this saturday from Madrid to JFK with Delta. I will arrive 12:30 to terminal 3 and I will take another fly to Boston at 13:55 with aircomet, I think terminal 4 but I am not sure. When I will arrive to JFK, have I to take my luggage again and leave in another conveyor before o after pass security? Do you think will be thigh time? Airtrain, Is it easy to get?

The airtrans is easy to get to and there will be signs directing you to the airtans. Even though you are flying onto Boston, the problem is... you must first get your baggage and clear customs at the first airport you land at in the U.S. With less than 1.5 hours between flights, I don't think even an experienced flier through JFK could make that connecting flight. But, I wouldn't worry too much, as you are arriving at a time of the day so the connecting airline should be able to get you on the next flight pretty easy. Good luck!

I am coming in from Detroit with a 40 min. layover and need to catch a flight connecting to Burlington, VT. Is 40 min enough time?

Yes, it is if it is the same airline for both flights.

I have a 3 hour stop over at JFK it is the same terminal however diferentl planes. Do I have to collect my luggage myself or will they transfer it over for me. Also I know there is no smoking in the airport is there a spot that I can go without havigng to go back through security?

Thank you

Which airlines are you flying on and from/to where?
Smoking is allowed only outside the buildings and there is no way for you to go and smoke without going through security on your way back.

I am flying AA Halifax to New York then New York to Miami

If both flights are on AA your bags should be checked through to Miami. You will clear US customs at Halifax prior to departure.

My wife would be reaching JFK airport by Delta connection flight DL 3081 on 20th November from Cincinnati at T-3 at 1343 Hrs.

She has to avail Air India Flight AI-102 from T-4 to Delhi at 1600 Hrs.

Please advise her transit plan from T3 to T-4 at JFK.

Let her find out at Cincinnati if Delta will check her bags all the way through - in that case she does not have to collect them at JFK.
After she lands she has to go across the streets and take Airtrain on track 1 . Next stop(it is only 1 min free ride) is T4. Once there she will go to the fourth floor and look for AI check-in counters.
She has plenty of time to connect.
