Call Russian authorities please.

My friend, a citizen of Thailand, will travel from Thailand to JFK and arrive Saturday, March 17 on Korean Air KE081, expected at 11:00am.
He will need to get to Terminal 5, to take Jet Blue flight #1010 to Boston at 2:20pm.
He speaks little English, and I have not been to JFK in years, so I have two questions:
1. Assuming he lands on time, will 3 hours & 20 minutes be enough time to clear Customs, collect his bags, clear U.S. Immigration, and get to Terminal 5?
2. Will it be easy for him to identify the correct shuttle to take him from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5? Do you have any specific instructions I could pass along to him?
Thanks,
Doug

1. Yes he has plenty of time to clear both immigration and customs.
2. Yes it is a piece of cake to find a correct shuttle. Watch monitor boards with signs that show which terminals air train will pass through. Tell him to take an air train on track 2 it is all terminals air train from T1 to T5.

I left a carry-on bag at terminal 1 prior to boarding a China Eastern Airlines flight (MU 588) on March 7th 2012. I only noticed as we were boarding the plane and told the checkin staff that it was missing. A staff member called "Sam" took my email and phone number and promised to contact me. So far I haven't received any response. As soon as I got to Shanghai I went to their China Eastern Airlines counter and put in a lost baggage claim which they faxed through to JFK. I have tried to call the JFK lost and found number (866) 588-0825 but no one answers. What should I try next? This bag is very important to me as it has my wedding jewelery. Any help would be appreciated!

We will be arriving at JFK T1 on AF006 on sunday march 8th. Arrival is scheduled at 4.35 pm with a connecting flight out of T3 at 6.55 pm with delta ( DL1571 )to Miami.
Is this a tight schedule or should it be OK, and can we already drop our luggage back of at T1 ?
Thx

You have enough time for this connection.

I am flying into JFK March 24 China Airlines 20 at 13:00, terminal 1 and have to make a connection to AA 4442 15:05, terminal 8. I know I need to collect my bags, go through customs, and recheck them. I also need to print my boarding pass for AA flight.

1)Is there an American Airline counter in terminal 1?
2)If not, is there a "transit counter" to recheck my bags?
3)If not, I suppose I have to recheck my bags at terminal 8?

Thank you

I need the real time departure flight TAM8083, today, from JFK to SAO (São Paulo - Brasil).
Thanks

Go to and google JFK AIrport arriving and departing flights to see your gate number and departure time.

I am flying into JFK March 1 Delta 30 at 14:49, terminal 3 and have to make a connection to TK 2 at 16:45, terminal 1. Will I need to collect my bags and recheck them at terminal 1 or will the bags be transferred automatically? Is this enough time?

You got enough time and yes you need to collect your luggage and check it through Customs if your first flight is international.
