I am flying on AA to JFK and then Air China from JFK. Is there a lounge in terminal 1 that I could buy a day pass to? Can you just walk up and buy a pass?

Lounge authorities only please.

Hello,

I fly by Turkish airlines to t1 at 9pm and my connecting flight to Boston by jet blue is at 10.50pm from t5. Is 1 hr 50 min enough time to make connection?

Thanks!

Yes it is.

Hello,

I have a 7:20 pm arrival time (Korean Air) into JFK terminal 1 and a connecting flight (Delta) at 9:00 pm at JFK terminal 3.

Is 1 hour and 40 mins enough if all goes well?

How long does it take on average to get your luggage from the carousel, then clear immigration/customs as a US citizen to get from Terminal 3 to 1 on a holiday weekend night(Nov 23)?

Appreciate any estimates.

Thanks,

Explorer

You should be OK as long as your first flight arrives on time. Please allow up to an hour to do all that. (Picking up your bags,Customs and Immigration)

Hello, I am an Iranian student (holding a Non-immigrant student visa) planning to come to US for the first time. I will arrive in T1 via Aeroflot at 5:00 pm. I also purchased a separate online ticket for a domestic American Airlines (T8) flight to Columbus, OH for 8:30 pm. Yet I have the following questions to ask:

1- I have 3.5 hours to go through the security, first US arrival check, paperwork, customs, luggage transfer between terminals, and check in for my second flight. I am extremely worried, would that time be enough? How long does it take? (This is the last flight of the day to this destination)

2- Do I have to go through customs at T1, pick up my luggage and pass through security before I get to terminal 8 via Air Tran? Do I have to get my luggage pieces and turn them in to T8?

3- I am planning to bring two suitcases of 50 pounds. As I have a separate domestic flight to Columbus, do I have to pay additional baggage charges for my second flight?

1. You should be OK. The whole process may take up to 2 hours.
2. Yes you will clear Customs upon arrival in the U.S and you will have to recheck them with American Airlines at terminal 8.
3.Most likely yes.

We will be flying Turkish Airlines on 6/29/11 with 10+ suitcases and a rental minivan. Is there curbside check-in for Turkish Airlines at JFK? If not, is there any other way we can avoid bringing all the suitcases on the rental car shuttle?

Yes there is.

I am picking up someone arriving from Haiti on American Airlines. I don't want to park and go in, just pick them up outside the terminal. Which terminal will they be coming out?

Terminal 8.

my daughter suppose to arrive JFK @ 3:30 by china eastern airlines and until now I have not heard from her. Calling the airline, no answer so what can I do?

Only airlines can give you the status of a flight so continue to call China Eastern Airlines.

Hello. My brother is arriving 9:00 pm with Turkish Airlines, but his next flight is 7:30 am in the morning. Which lounge he can use overnight? I have Air Canada lounge passes, can he use them? We would like to arrange that ahead of time if possible.
