transfer from T3 to T1
My parents are going to arrive at JFK from Washington DC by Delta airline at 10:40pm. They have to take Korean air at 12:50am.
a) Delta airline arrives at T3 and Korean air is at T1. Is that correct?
b) If 'a)' is correct, as I know, they have to take air train to get T1 from T3. Is that correct?
c) My parents do not know English well. So, I would like to show a detail map to them to explain how to get the air train. Would you let me know how can I see the map?
Go to the AirTrain page on
Go to the AirTrain page on this website for a map, see the site navigation to the right. They will take AirTrain on track 2 (Terminal route) from T3 to T1.
AA from SF --> JFK --> Helsinki
I have an AA flight arriving JFK from San Francisco on Fri May 27th at 15.50. Connecting flight with AA to Helsinki, Finland, leaves at 17.40. As both flights are operated by AA and to my understanding the terminal is the same - there should be enough time between the flights, is that so? Thanks!!
Correct, you should arrive
Correct, you should arrive and depart from T8.
Enough time to transit?
I am arriving T1 at 1:25pm via China Airline and have a connect flight at T5 at 2:56pm with JetBlue. Is there enough time (about 1.5 hr) to get custom clearing, luggage, and travel between the 2 terminals?
Normally, how long will it take to have all done if I were to schedule another connecting flight?
You need to allow at least
You need to allow at least one hour for customs, 10-15 minutes transfer between terminals and at least 30 minutes to check-in/clear security at T5, so you probably will not have enough time. You really need to allow at least two hours, more is better, between flights.
Hy, we are traveling from
Hy,
we are traveling from San Franciso by Virgin American arriving at terminal 4 (i think)at JFK airport at 3:40 pm and them we will depart at 5:40 pm by Austrian at terminal 1 (i think).
The problem ist we can´t check our lugagge trough.
Is there any way to check this trough?
Is it enough time for this connecting flight?
Thanks for your answer
If the two airlines don't
If the two airlines don't have a baggage agreement you will need to pick up your luggage on arrival at T4 and proceed to Austrian at T1 for check-in. I believe your Virgin America flight from SFO is domestic so no need for customs clearance and you should have time. Take AirTrain on third floor of T4 to T1, any train on track 2.
so you think its enough time
so you think its enough time to pick up our luggage an check in one hour before the next flight?
You should be OK as long as
You should be OK as long as your first flight is on time.

New weight rules for Aeroflot as of April 1, 2011
Aeroflot has posted new weight rules and under exceptions it says that for to/from New York flight 2 luggage pieces are allowed for economy class passengers. Does it mean 2x23kgs per person free of charge?
Call Aeroflot Russain
Call Aeroflot Russain airlines to double check.
