Terminal 4
You would have to go to
You would have to go to three of JFK terminals 2,3 or 4 to make that connection.
It would be either T2 or T3.
It would be either T2 or T3. You can check-in in at either terminal;once inside, look for the gate number - both terminals are connected.
You should go to terminal 3
You should go to terminal 3 or 4.
information
I will arrive at JFK terminal 3 at 12:05 from Buffalo (NY) in 01/14/2011 via Delta Air Lines DL3979, and in the same day I has to chatch TAM flight JJ8079 to Brazil from terminal 2 at 04:15 PM. How can I go on from terminal 3 to terminal 2? And should I take a taxi? or another transportation? and Will that be enough time to immigration and clear customs?
TAM airlines operate out of
TAM airlines operate out of terminal 4 not terminal 2. Please check all the terminals on this website for personal reference. Delta domestic will land you either terminal 2 or 3. To get to your flight on terminal 4 you need to get on an air train in terminal 2 or 3. It will get you to terminal 4 in less than 5 minutes. No taxi needed it would be a waste of money. You will arrive on a domestic flight so no need to clear immigration or customs. You will need to clear security.
You can relax. You have more
You can relax. You have more than enough to make that connection especially since you wont have to clear immigration or security.
You will have to go to
You will have to go to terminal 4 and make that connection. It is enough time.
TAM Airlines does not
TAM Airlines does not operate out of T2 but out of T4. Use Airtrain to go from T3 to T4. No need to clear immigration or customs when arrive domestic or depart out of USA.
You have more than enough
You have more than enough time to make that connection. No taxi needed use air train on the 3rd floor it fast and easy and it will take you to terminal 2 in minutes.
change of flight
arriving at NY JFK gate 15 by delta 1542 from seattle and have a connecting flight to amsterdam with delta 70 from gate b22. since i have only 1 hr 20 mins transfer time, how far are the gates from each other?
Delta from Seattle will land
Delta from Seattle will land you either at T3 or T2. If you end up at T3 look for gate 11 where Delta has a shuttle to the "B" gates(they are located at T4).
If you land at T2 look for gate 19 - and take the same shuttle to the "B" gates.
You have plenty of time to do that(the shuttle leaves every 10-15 mins and takes only 5 mins to get to T4).
Most likely Delta will check the bags all the way through so there will be no need to pick up the bags at JFK.
In my opinion you will not
In my opinion you will not make it because you will have to recheck your bags and go through security all over again. You should change your tickets just to be on a safe side.
