hi! we are a family of 4 ,arive to terminal 4 at 15:20 . we continue our flight from terminal 8 at 22:15.how much time is from terminal 4 to 8?
we arrive from el-al and continue with american airline.
do we have time to go out the airport? our luggage goes direct to our next flight to argentina or we have to take it? is there a day storage? thank you!

My friend is traveling from India to JFK
Her Itineray is:
9W 226 Q 18JUL BRU JFK 1005 1215
I beleive 9W Jet airways is trminal 8
She has to catch a Delta flight from terminal 3
DL 193 Q 18JUL JFK ATL 1515 1810.
I have couple of questions:
1.Does she have to go through immigration on terminal 8 itself before she catches flight to atlanta?
2.What is a usual wait time for Immigration process.
3.How she get to terminal 3 to catch connecting Delta flight,how long does it take?
3.Does she have to pick up her bags from terminal 8 and check in again in terminal 3 or it will be auto checked-in in her connecting flight?

2. It takes between 30-50 min.
3. She has to take Airtrain on the second floor of T8, on track 2 to T3.
4. She has to pick up the bags and go through customs at T8 and then she can either:
- re-check the bags at Jet Airways connecting flights counter at T8 or
- re-check her bags at T3 with Delta.
Travel from SFO to Paris on American via JFK
My daughter is traveling from SFO to JFK and then changing planes for the JFK to Paris leg of her trip. She appears to be arriving and departing from JFK via Terminal 8 but as she arrives on a domestic flight and will leave on an international flight does she go through security again if she stays in the terminal? She has 1 and a half hours between flights is that enough.

I am travelling from Nashville to the UK on August 3rd and have to go via Washington DC and JFK. Is there anywhere on this site where i can check the terminal that i will arrive in from DC so i can plan my journey to Terminal 8?
Also, my changeover time is 1 hour 40 minutes, will this be enough time to get through the appropriate security procedures. And will my luggage be checked right through seeing as they are connecting flights both with American Airlines? This is my first time in the US and as i am travelling alone i would hate to miss my flight!!
Any help would be appreciated.

If you're travelling from
If you're travelling from Washington to JFK on American you will arrive at terminal 8, same terminal as your UK departure, thus no need to go through security again unless you leave the terminal. Check with AA at Nashville check-in to make sure they will check your bags through fromm Nashville to the UK.

Hi,
On the 20th of July we're flying from Manchester (UK) to NY(JFK-airport) and then from JFK to San Jose (Costa Rica). Both flights are with America Airlines.
In JFK-Airport we have 1 hour and 15 minutes to get or next flight.
Do we have enough time to catch our next flight?
Will our luggage be automatically transferred to the next flight or do we have to carry it ourself ?

That is not enough time -
That is not enough time - you are coming international which will delay you further in immigration/customs/baggage transfer.
You have to pick up your bags, go through customs and transfer them after that.

Hello! My mother will arrive from Russia to terminal 1.She needs to get to terminal8.Where she have to go to get an airTrain? How long it will take? When she get there where she have to go for her next flight???

She has to go to the third floor of T1 and take Airtrain on track 2 . Next stop is T8. At T8 she has to go to the third floor, clear security and look for the departure gate.
