JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

- Driving - follow the signs.
- If you are on the Airtrain - make sure it is the one going to Howard Beach station. Long term parking is the very next stop.

dropping off
My wife and kids have a flight at 7:00pm with Aeroflot to Moscow and Im taking them:
1. Its my first time at this airport, how early should I be there before their flight.
2. Where do I park? Is it walking distance to the terminal?
3. How long can I stay with them at the airport?
4. Where should they check in? I only have the paper confirmation from Aeroflot.
5. Can I stay with them until they check in their luggage?
6. Can they keep their stroller until reaching the plane? its a two seat type.
7. Is there extra charge for the stroller?

Dropping off luggage first?
Is it advisable to park and then take luggage on the Airtrain to the terminal? Or should I drop my wife off with the luggage and then park and meet back up with her?

how much is it to park in the short term parking from thursday june 30th until tuesday july 6th. is there a max amount and can you leave it the lot for so many days

I am picking up somebody on July 2nd at 7.10am via Air India. Where do I park ? How long can I use the pick up and drop off area without parking>?
Park at the Blue parking lot
Park at the Blue parking lot which is right across Air India terminal(T4). The traffic guys will let you stay in front of the building only to load/unload.
The pick-up/drop-off area is
The pick-up/drop-off area is for just that purpose, no waiting/parking or you are subject to a ticket or tow. If you and your arrival have cell phones you can sit with your car in the "cell phone waiting" area, have them call you when they are ready and you can proceed to the pick-up area at their terminal. There's short-term parking at every terminal where you can park and proceed to the terminal to wait there.
