JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Very, very rarely(usually around the holidays), but even then they open an extra spaces for the purpose.

I am leaving Saturday, 5/29 on Delta to Minneapolis. Which lot is the closest? Do I need the AirTrain or can I walk? How long does the Airtrain ride take?

If you want to use short term parking lot($33/day) then the Green Parking lot is the closest one to T3.
If you want to use long Term Parking lot($18/day) then take Airtrain(~15min free ride)to T3.

Hi,
I am leaving for tampa on jetblue airlines friday, may 28 (tomorrow) and was wondering how to get to parking to leave my car for the weekend till sunday evening? Do they take credit cards for charge? and then how do i get to my terminal?

Park in long term, $18 per day, yes they take credit cards, take Airtrain from parking to your terminal.

$18/day - is it inclusive of tax? do you hold on to the car keys or let the owner keep the keys? thanks,

hi im leaving to miami fl on 6/2/2010 11am returning 6/7/2010 2:30pm on american airlines. What is the fee for the parking lot?where do i need to park ? Is for 5 days exactly.

Short Term Parking lot(Red Parking lot) is right across T8(AA). Cost - $33/day.
Long term parking lot costs $18/day and it is accessible via Airtrain(which is free in this case). It takes 10-20 min to get to T8.
