Hello!
I'm coming to JFK and then have to go to Manhattan. Could you give me an advice how can i get there, from which terminal?
Thank you!)

From all terminals you can:
1)take a taxi.
2)take a shuttle bus to Grand Central Terminal, Port Authority Bus Terminal, Penn Station.
3)take AirTrain to Jamaica Station and take LIRR to Penn Station or subway to just about anywhere.

Thanks for the detailed answer!

Hello,
I'm hoping you can help. I will be traveling with a party of 5. 3 children and my mother in a wheelchair.
what is the best way for us to get to our hotel.
We are flying into JFK and staying at the Homewood Suites(Edgewater- NYC area)

Arrange for shuttle van transportation when you get to Ground Transportation. Taxi will only take 4 persons maximim.

Hi I have a plane to catch on 7.45am from JFK to LAX. I m non US resident, holding visa, how early should I arrive ti check in? Thank you.

And likely that i will arrive in New York Penn station on previous night 10.30pm, what is the cheapest transportation to JFK from there?

Rule of thumb is arrive at airport two hours prior to departure to allow time for check-in and security. Cheapest transport from Penn Station is the Jamaica-bound E subway to Sutphin Blvd/JFK ($2.25) and then AirTrain from there to terminals ($5).

Hello I arrive into JFK on the 5th July at 4.30pm from London. How long do you think it will take to clear customs?

Allow at least one hour but it could take less.

Is there a shuttle bus that runs between JFK and Eastgate Tower Hotel?

Nothing direct. You can take the NYAirports bus ($15.50) from terminal to Grand Central Terminal (Park Ave/42nd St) and walk three blocks south to 39th St. and then three long blocks to the hotel between 3rd and 2nd Ave. Taxi will take you direct for $45+tolls+tip.

my sister in law is coming in and her flight was cancelled due to mechanical it was a Delta flight 4174. She has no cell phone, and two kids, she is here for my fathers funeral, how can we get a message to her or get ahold of her to know she is ok?

I'm going to manhattan next month, and I will like to know how can I get to the Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown East 866 Third Avenue. We are 5 persons travelling. Also the cheapiest way to get there. Thanks

Can anyone suggest the easiest way to get from JFK to White Plains? I do not want to have to do more than one transfer if taking a bus/train. Any shuttles that go to White Plains would be helpful to know, too.

Many thanks

You can inquire at Ground Transportation regarding shuttle service. You can certainly get there by train but would require a few transfers along the way. Here's the train route: AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd St, transfer to the downtown #6 subway to 42nd St/Grand Central, transfer to Metro North-Harlem line train to White Plains.
