Hello,

My family will be arriving from India at JFK via Qatar Airways. I live in Ohio and am planning to book a domestic flight for them to Cleveland.

After going through customs, would they be able to simply switch terminals to catch their domestic flight? Is there any kind of assistance available since two of them will be in wheelchairs?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Hello,
I was just wondering how much time I should plan to get through customs on a Saturday in July arriving at 17:00 on Aerosvit airlines. I am a US citizen, while my partner is not. We have a bus to catch, so any advice can help us plan that leg of the journey. Thanks in advance!

Hi. I'm arriving at terminal 3, planning to take Airtrain to terminal 4 to check luggage into storage. Then a friend is coming to the airport to pick me up; WHERE should I tell her to pick me up and WHEN (if the flight lands at 3pm)?
Thanks.

Hi JKF team,
My flight will arrive to JFK terminal 4 around 1am and I may have to spend the night there until 6am.
I will be alone so I would like to know which is the most comfortable and safe place to sit (or sleep) at terminal 4.
Are the restaurants or coffee shops or any other shop open during the night?
Thank you very much in advance for your time. I got already a lot of information just from reading your answers to other people. Thanks!
Giada.

I AM ARRIVING AT TERMINAL 4 AT 2:15 P.M. AND DEPARTING FROM TERMINAL 5 AT 5:25 P.M. DOES THAT GIVE ME ENOUGH TIME TO CLEAR CUSTOMS, AND HOW WOULD I GET TO TERMINAL 5 FROM TERMINAL 4?

Hi

I Arrive at JFK on 18th 12 Noon on Jet Airways flight and connecting to Bogota through Avianca which is at midnight the same day.
After i clear customs and claim my baggage , will I be able to check in my baggage at the Avianca counter immediately or will the counter be opened only some hours before the flight.
If the counter will be opened only some hours before the flight , is there a paid lounge where I can stay till the counter opens for me to check in.
Regards

i have a flight from indianapolis to JFK (DL4250), it is arriving at JFK at 15.05 at terminal 3. I have connection flight from terminal 4 at 17.05(AI102). probably i have to recheck-in my luggage, is the time gap is sufficient for luggage transfer between two terminal, security check at JFK? I will have sufficient luggage with me. please give your advice..

I'm arriving at JFK on Swiss (Terminal 4) on a Monday at 3:50pm.
I have a connecting flight on American Eagle (Terminal 8) to Pittsburgh at 5:05pm.

I'm worried that I won't make it with customs, having to check in my bags at the American counter, and security.

I bought the two tickets separately, is there a way to inform the airlines that I have a connecting flight so I can exit the plane sooner, and so that American knows I will be arriving later?

I haven't found that I can check my bags through, does anyone know if I can?

Will I have enough time?
