We are coming on August 25th to JFK from Paris and need to know if there is a bus connection to Bridgeport from JFK. Thank you.

My mother arrives on 8/06 7:40 am on LAN CHILE flight LA532. I just found out that this airline does not longer operates from terminal 4 (as listed in your website) but terminal 8 and I am not familiar with this terminal. I will be picking her up with my small children and I need help figuring out the best way to coordinate. I am considering asking her to wait outside the terminal so I don't have to take the sleeping babies out of the car, if I do this, where should I tell her to wait for me? are there marked zones or landmarks? If not, Where is the closest temporary parking area and what is the walking distance? I will be pushing a stroller, and returning with luggage. where are there public phones (not sure about her cell service) in the terminal and how much exact change would she need? thank you

We are planning a flight from LAX via JFK to HEL for my daughter. She will fly from Los Angeles at 8.11. AA34 16:30. The flight to Helsinki is 17:45 AY6. Only one hour and fifteen minutes to change. Is it enough?
She hasn't fly a lot and never alone, pour english though she is 20 years. Do you know if there is Finnairs personnel to get help.

They should be able to help. It is enough time as long as her first flight is on time.

I'm traveling with American Airlines from Brussels to JFK and JFK to LAX. I'm arriving and departing at terminal 8. Since both my flights are with American Airlines, is it necessary that I check my baggage, or can I go straight to my departing gate when I arrive at JFK?

You still need to clear Customs and then recheck your bags for second flight.

Hello. I am flying from Paris to RDU on one ticket with a stop in JFK via American Airlines. I only have 1h20 to make the change. I'm knowI have to pick up my leggage before clearing customs. Is there a quick drop off on the other side of customs at terminal 8 for my connecting flight. Or do I have to exit and re-enter. Do I have to clear security again?

Only at T8 departures desk.

My family will be arriving in JFK via BA at 10:30 pm from London. Their final destination is SFO and they are ticketed all the way to SFO. They have a 12 hour layover before their domestic flight on AA to SFO. They have reserved a hotel room near the airport prior to their flight to SFO.

Would they need to clear customs at JFK and then recheck in bags at the AA counter for their flight to SFO? Or could they checkin their bags all the way to SFO and avoid lugging them to the hotel for a few hours?

If they have to claim baggage and clear customs at JFK is there a possibility to check their bags into their AA flight prior to leaving the airport for the hotel?

Can you advise on the best option so they can travel conveniently?

Thank you for your assistance.

Does terminal 8 have a pre-security area to hangout with family before going through checkpoints like terminal 4? Thanks in advance!
