Hi,
I'm flying with Jetblue on Wed. Jan. 12th from Tampa to JFK. I arrive around 12:15. Later that day I have a international connection from JFK to Athens,Greece with Delta.

My question is:
Does Jetblue check my luggages all the way through Athens? or do I have to pick them up and go to check in again with Delta at JFK?

and also,
If I want to get an extra luggage (I know jetblue charges $30), but will I have to pay again for extra luggage with Delta on the international flight?

I thank you in advance!

This may not be the appropriate place for questions but here goes anyway. Are there customs gates in terminal 7? If not where do we go thru customs with our baggage for our Iberia flight to Madrid at 9:05 pm 1/19/11?

Is there anything you can do when you have more than 8 hours to spare at the airport? zzz

Quick question!! Long Story!! But i will keep it short. I booked a flight from JFK to Newcastle, England. Of course I will be grabbing a connecting flight in London because there are no direct flights to Newcastle. Well my connection in England had me switching airports... which I did not want to do... but unfortunately, stupid me, didn't check my details. I tried to arrange something with the online booking engine to just switch all my details and cancel my reservation for just the connecting flight. They don't speak very good english so I am afraid they did not understand me at all. What I got out of it was 'sorry but you can't cancel and no refunds'. That is fine with me as long as I can take another flight. So i went ahead and booked another flight but did not cancel the other. MY QUESTION: Can I just not get onto my originally booked connecting flight and get on my new flight?? Will this cause a whole bunch of confusion with the airlines/airports??

You will not face any problems as long as you fit into the connection times.

Leaving JFK terminal 3 with Delta 118 wednesday 29/12 we found that our luggage had been opended and items missing arriving at home. We believe that this has happened in JFK. Who takes action in this matter? With the new TSA security regulations I find it worrying that luggage can be opened in a security area?

Tourist family of 5 flying in T1 will get AA flt at T8 after NYC sightseeing. Each with 1 small backpack + 1 trolley bag the biggest size that fits in the plane's overhead compartment.
Questions:
1. Can we be allowed bring those trolley bags in airtrain or buses to / from NYC?
2. Is there a place to leave those bags in T8?
3. How much do they charge approx.

Hi, can anyone assist. We are arriving in JFK on the 30th from Heathrow, that if the flight has not been cancelled. My question is what is the travel situation between the airport and Manhattan. Is the local transport running e.g. taxis buses etc.

Cheers.

Thanks to all who responded - much appreciated and we are looking forward to visiting NYC. Now all I need is for AA to confirm the flight.

Cheers

Peter

AirTrain, taxi, bus, subway and rail service should be back to normal by the time you arrive on the 30th.

Should be no problem with flights arriving, slight delay and streets are passable now so taxis and bus service to and from airport has resumed.

I have a flight at 1 pm for Korea. What can you advise.

My son is stuck at JFK since 5:30PM
Is there any way out
Are the cabs running?
Thanks
