I have to go from Jfk to 215 W 94th Street. Please help me.

1.By taxi:
Yellow cab (from JFK to any point to Manhattan) costs flat rate of $45 + bridge toll($5.50). The price is for the whole taxi, not per passenger.

2.Shuttle:
There is shuttle(look for it at Ground transportation
counter or Welcome Center) that goes to any address in Manhattan for $18.50-$25.00 per person.

3. Public transportation:
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Howard Beach Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the green colored sign is Howard Beach one). Then take subway line A to Columbus Circle stop, then transfer to line 1 going the same direction; get off 96th street stop (cost-$7.25).Walk two blocks south on Broadway and turn left on W94th street - the address is half block away.

I am travelling from Iceland and I am supposed to arrive in terminal 7 and need to get to terminal 3 to take the Delta flight. I am not used to travel and wanted to know the following: How long will it take? From where do I take the train? Is it possible to get a guide from terminal 7 to terminal 3? And if so, where can I ask for it?
Regards, Disa

Hi Disa,
You don't need a guide for that! As soon as you clear customs at T7, go outside of the building, cross the two streets and take elevator to the third floor. There, take Airtrain on track 2 to Terminal 3. It is only 5 minutes free ride.

You have time - go on the second floor of T8 and follow the signs to the Airtrain. On the platform take the train on track 2 - the third stop would be terminal 4. It is 3-4 minutes free ride.

I have to check into my flight in terminal 3 Delta and then take my daughter to her flight in terminal 1 Alitalia and then get back to my flight in terminal 3. I'm afraid of how long the airtran is going to take. What are my best options to make this work?

Airtrain is you best option. Just remember the shortest route:
- from T1 to T3 take the train on track 1 for one stop;
- from T3 to T1 take the train on track 2 for one stop;
It will take you less than a minute.

Cheapest is by Airtrain/subway $7.25. Take Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station. Take E subway which runs along 50th St. when it enters Manhattan and then runs south along 8th Ave. and ends at World Trade Ctr. You can also take Airtrain to Howard Beach Station and take the A subway.
