Is it a possibility to take the Airtrain to Howard Beach and after that the blue A-line to Broadway-Nassau station? (we are going to 320 Pearl Street)
How much will it cost?

Thank You
Best regards
Lena

HOW LONG (AND HOW FAR IS?) DOES IT TAKE TO GO FROM JAMAICA STATION TO PENN TRAIN STATION? WHAT IS THE FASTEST WAY TO GET THERE?

The distance is about 13 miles and the fastest way to get there is by LIRR train - 20 min. There is a train every 20-30min .

What is the best way to get from JFK to a train station on the Hudson line going to Poughkeepsie?

Hudson Line on Metro-North leaves out of Grand Central Station.
From JFK you can either take taxi(flat fare of $50.50,40-50min)or NYAS express bus($15;40-60min)to Grand Central Station.

Hello,

can you tell me the subway lines / routes I use to travel from JFK Airport to the Salisbury Hotel at 123 West 57th Street 10019

Thank you.

Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to Roosevelt Ave stop. Transfer to line F towards Manhattan and get off at 57th street stop.(cost-$7.25)
The hotel is right around the corner on W57th street(between 6th and 7th Ave).

re the directions to the 57th St. stop via MTA from Jamaica Station, would that route be faster than the LIRR to Penn. Station, then a subway (or cab) from there to 101 W. 5th St.? What would you estimate that cab ride to cost?

I assume the fastest way, but most expensive, would be a cab from JFK to the hotel on a Sunday evening.

TIA,

I'll arrive at JFK tomorrow at 14:45h and have to get to Grand Central Station in Manhattan. Which trains should I take?

Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going on two different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to 53rd street/Lexington Ave stop, then transfer to line 6 going downtown for one stop(cost-$7.25).
