wish is the cheapes way to from jfk airport to bronx
179 st.
Or the more secure way

Taxi would be most secure, fastest and direct to your destination, approximate cost is $50. Cheapest is by subway ($7.25 including Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station) however there are at least six subway lines that serve the Bronx so which line you take depends on where on 179th St. you are going. Take E subway from Jamaica and transfer at 53rd St. for the uptown #6 (you can transfer to the 4 or 5 subways at 125th St.), 7th Ave. and transfer to the D subway or 42nd St. and transfer to the 1 or 2 subways.

How do I get a bus from JFK to Maryland? How much will it cost and how many hours will that be?

Where in Maryland are you going? See the bus listings on the bus page. Some of the DC-bound buses stop in Baltimore, check their schedules for fares and travel times. Anywhere other than the DC or Baltimore areas you will probably need to take Greyhound which leaves from Port Authority Bus Terminal. From JFK you can take the NYAS express bus from terminals PA or E subway from Jamaica (take Airtrain) to Port Auth. If you take any of the DC-bound buses from Penn Station, there's a NYAS express bus that goes there as does the E subway and LIRR from Jamaica.

how do i get to jfk from the bronx taking the bus???

Best to take the subway as there are no direct bus routes from the Bronx to JFK. Not sure where in the Bronx you are coming from but you'll need to get to the Queens-bound E train and get off at Sutphin/Archer/JFK and take the Airtrain to your terminal. You can take the 4 or 5 to 125th St., transfer to the 6 to 51st St. and transfer to the E there, take the 1 or 2 to Times Sq./42nd St. and transfer to the E or take the D to 7th Ave. and transfer to the E.

Hi,this is my first time to the USA,would you kind enough to tell me how can I go to the Dutton RD,Philadelphia,PA from JFK.I will appreciate your help.Thanks.

You can take Boltbus or Vamoose bus from outside Penn Station to Philadelphia (about $20) or Amtrak train from Penn Station to Philadelphia (about $30-$40) and then local transportation in Philly to your location. You can reach Penn Station from JFK by taxi ($45+tolls+tip), NYAS express bus ($15) or public transportation; Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and either LIRR or E subway to Penn Station. LIRR is more expensive than subway but easier if you have luggage and a bit faster.

Hi , how can i get from atlantic city to jfk int airport?

Royal Limo and Airport Chariot have shuttle service to JFK from AC. Greyhound has service to Port Authority Bus Terminal, from there take the E subway to Sutphin/JFK station and then Airtrain to your terminal or the NYAS express bus. By public trasnportation, take the train from AC to Philly, Amtrak-Northeast Corridor to Penn Station-NY and then either E subway or LIRR to Jamaica and Airtrain or the NYAS express bus.

We have our daughter arriving in december, taking into account incliment weather, we need bus from JFK to albany airport, or greyhound service directly from JFK to Pittsfield, Mass. She will be traveling a long way and we want the easiest possible if the weather is inclimate...is there bus service directly from JFK to albany or greyhound? is it costly?

There is no direct service from JFK to Albany and there is no Greyhound station at JFK.
The closest one is in Manhattan, PA bus terminal.
See the post bellow how to get there from JFK.

Where can I get a bus schedule from JFK (Jet Blue) to Scranton? Arriving on 7/29 @ 4:25pm.

Greyhound departs from Port Authority Bus Terminal, you can get there from JFK by NYAS express bus or Airtrain to Jamaica Station and E subway to Port Authority. Go online to Greyhound's website for schedules and fares.
