Yes, I'd say that almost four hours is plenty for you to get through immigration, claim your luggage, go through customs, recheck luggage (it's right after you go through customs that you can just plop your suitcases on the belt)and transfer to terminal 1 to catch your flight to Vegas. You can take a bus or I believe there are sky trains.

My cousin's flight was delayed for many hours, and now we have no information when he is coming. The flight is VV0132, New York (JFK I assume) from New York to Kiev Boryspil (Ukraine) and should have arrived to Kiev at 12:05 pm on April 17. Our Ukrainian airline services are not very fast with information. Please, give some information about the exact delay and approximate time of arrival to Kiev. Thank you.

For now I have the information that this flight will land at 9:40 PM (Kiev time) since Borispol Airport is closed till 9:00 PM due to volcanic dust in the clouds. I hope it will not change and their trip won't last longer. Do you know what the airplane might do during three hours more in the flight, flying near the airport or what? I'm sorry for kind of stupid questions, but I worry about them.

They(the pilot or the airline) may choose longer route in order to avoid the unpleasant environment which will explain the delay.

I have no idea.My husband is also visiting India in the same flight and was scheduled to start on Apr15th.But he is still in JFK waiting foe any updates from the airlines.SO far AI has cancelled all the weekend flights and have declared a No fly zone till Sunday evening.

I was after some information about bringing about 6 tins of unopened infant formula (for my daughter) from Australia on a flight into America for our stay as I am sure we can not get this brand in NYC.

air india delayed again??
Does anyone know if air india took off today 4/16/10. Also if it will take off tomorrow 4/17?? The air india office kept saying it was cancelled for today but the website is showing that it's on time so I just wanted to know if it left today and I missed it.

Just wondering whether there are any flights to JFK from Europe that are not cancelled and which countries/airports are these from...am stuck in Europe and will go to almost anywhere to fly out.

Are there domestic delays at JFK?
I'm flying into JFK late on Saturday from California for a funeral on Sunday and then coming right back. I do not want to go at all if my flight is delayed more than an hour or two. Is the situation in Europe having any affect on coast-to-coast traffic?
