JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Exit 18B on Belt Pkwy and then make left om Lefferts Blvd.
Drive straight - the LT parking lot would be on your right(the entrance is all the way down to the right).

Exit 1B. After you exit the ramp, stay on the North Conduit(service road) till you reach Lefferts Blvd(it is about 3-4 lights). Then make left, drive straight - the LT parking lot would be on your right(the entrance is all the way down to the right).

Yes, you can pay with any major credit card.

is there handicapped parking at the terminal lots & can I stay there for 4 days?

All terminals parking lots have a designated handicap parking spots. You can stay there for 4 days.

Are there signs once you get to the airport for long-term parking? Also r there shuttles that will take you to your terminal & if so how often r they running?

Yes, there are signs . From long term parking you have to take Airtrain(which is free for you) to JFK Terminals. The train is running every 5 min(peak) or every 10 min(off peak).

I need to park my car may
I need to park my car may 8th at 5:30am to may 15th until 6pm. Is that considered long term parking? $18/day plus tax?

It is NOT the length of the stay that will determine if it is Long Term or Short Term.
To get long term parking rates you HAVE TO park in the designated Long Term Parking Lot(which is $18/day).
