I'm landing and arriving at JFK in Terminal 3 at 15.15 pm (arriving from Washington Reagan)and I have to go to Terminal 7 to take an IBERIA flight at 6.00 pm to Madrid.
1/ What's the easiest mode of transportaion to go from T3 to T7 and the estimated time?
2/ I'm a French Citizen and my ticket for the whole trip has been purchased through IBERIA, do I have to wait and to take my luggage from T3 to T7 or can I go directly to T7 ?
Thanks for answer

Take the airtrain from terminal 3 (follow signs ) to terminal 7. You will have to pick up your luggage at baggage claim. The entrance to airtrain is directly across from baggage claim at T3. The train does a loop around entire airport stopping at each terminal. Board the train that says "all airport terminals" It will take about 2 minutes.Safe Travels!

are there different terminals for domestic and international flights??

It depends on your airline.

Hi,
My mother is traveling from Cairo to JFK on the 21st July, are there any expected disruptions on this flight? Will what's happening in Europe affect her?
Thanks in advance.

Dear Anxious,

Unlikely. I expect the problems in the Europe region to be solved today, at the latest tomorrow morning.

I can insure you that the test flights that were made did not encounter any problems at all.

Also, the ash cloud does not reach Cairo, so even if it would be a treath to the aircraft, the pilot can simply divert to a different route to avoid the ash cloud over Europe.

With kind regards,

AMS int.

Thanks!

Flights to and from Cairo are operating on schedule. Your mom should not encounter disruptions, other than the chaos inside the jfk airport.

Thanks!

I will be flying from Riyadh, KSA to NY JFK tonight. I cannot find anything on the web that indicates flights from the ME or points south are being directly affected by the airspace shiutdown in effect across much of Europe. I understand JFK may get tagged with some extra traffic volume once the conditions improve or if they do not, then same may happen as a result of overflow from other US airports getting backed up. I just want to know if this flight is has a liklihood of being cancelled or delayed. Please advise soonest.

Thanks in advance.

Those flights are not really affected.

In regards with European airspace shutdown,
Passengers concerned about overstaying their visa should proceed to the CBP(Customs and Border Patrol) "Ships" office within the Terminal to receive a "satisfactory departure" stamp.

My wife is currently in Charlotte, NC. She booked Delta flight #30 to SVO 20 Apr. Should she stay Charlotte or it is better to arrive to JFK with hope that her flight will not be cancelled?

Dear Vadim,

Route: From (JFK) New York, NY, US
to(SVO) Moscow, RU
Duration: 10h 05m
Equipment: Boeing 767 Passenger
Codeshares: (KL) KLM 9241

Since KLM is a close partner of us, I expect the flight will depart on time but it will probably rerout. This means that it will take an alternate route to avoid the ash cloud above Europe. I expect the flight to land about 2-3 hours later.

For more details you should contact Delta Airlines or KLM.

With kind regards,

AMS int.
