Cheat fruad in JFK
Hi,
I came to US today through Emiretes EK205 at JFK 8th mar 2008. This is my first trip to US.
I noticed that my luggage was missing. I booked the baggage complaint. When i was waiting near that place One officer (came with wireless) came to me and asked me how can i help you sir. I said i am waiting for my representative, He asked my representative's number and he called that number from his cell phone(acting like talking to my representative). After that call, that officer told me your representative asked you to take a cab and goto hotel. Then he voluntarily called a cab and sent me to the hotel.
The cab driver charged me $480 + tax = 520, I had only 500, I paid 500. The distance i traveld is 46 miles. I took the cab from JFK and I reched my hotel at Amsterdam Hotel, Stamford, Connecticut.
Now i need to book a complaint against the airport personal. Please tell me where to book the complaint.
Thanks for your help.
my email id is vjm1978@gmail.com

Transfer of Baggage
It will be my first time at JFK.I will be landing at Terminal 4 by ETIHAD Airways at 0830 in morning. I will have to catch American Airline(AA) flight at Terminal 8.
After clearing Immigration and Customs, how do i transfer my baggage to Terminal 8? I know that i can travel by Air train with my cabin baggage but how do I take my check-in baggage to Terminal 8 from Terminal 4by Air train?
Is it possible and allowed to use baggage cart to carry baggage through Air train? Is it possible to use baggage cart while climbing or getting getting from stairs while going to Terminal 8?
Can I check in my baggage at AA counter at Terminal 4 instead of taking my baggage all the way to Terminal 8?
Any other assitance on this matter?
Pls. help

dear sir/madam
on a recent trip out of jfk terminal 4 i purchased a clock,a high school musical alarm /bell clock.
i purchased it from a vendor positioned between gates 5 and 7 ,near the toilets. left side as you walk towards the end of the terminal ,i believe it to be run by they would appear to be a young jewish pair,
the clock was on the display and when i asked for the box they couldnt find it .however they wrapped it up as they did so the alarm appeared to be ringing as the hammer appeared to be loose,i didnt question this as i assumed it was in proper working order.
on return home i noticed the inside was loose and some of the parts broken ,the alarm dosent work.
im extremly (as my daughter is) dissappointed this type of shoddy retailership, {i tought, was done away with} . as i deal with a lot of tourists that travel trough your airport i will be informing them of the practice that exists there. it only takes one as they say, i would appreciate if you could look into this at your earlyiest ,and let me know what the outcome is .i thank you .yours sincerely ,dave yeates.
flight out ei104 tuesday 14th january.
T4 store complaint
Unfortunately, T4 is one of the only airline terminals in the US that is not operated by the airlines or airport authority, but rather is a joint public/private business venture. As such, the vendors there are just as any street vendor. Look at your receipt, and follow complaint procedures directly with them as you would with any retail store. You can also complain to the Better Business Bureau(BBB).
Hi, I and my family are
Hi, I and my family are departing from Terminal 4 with quite a lot of baggages with us. Since my wife has to take care of our 2 small kids, it is only I that can carry our baggages, which should be beyond the capacity of a baggage trolley. So could you please tell me whether any baggage assistance service at Terminal 4 to carry the luggage to the check-in counters ? Thank you so much.
Yes there is a service
Yes there is a service called "SkyCap" services. They charge you $1 for every bag they carry. They have these metal carts that can carry up to 10 bags. Depending on the amount of luggage you have with you they will charge you, and the tip is optional. They are at every Departure door on the 4th floor of Terminal 4, you will identify them right away, once again they are called "SKYCAP Services"
