JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

You can park at the short term parking lot for Terminal 4(aka Blue Parking Lot). It takes between 30min to 1 hr to clear immigration and customs.

Jet Blue Parking
I read that the Yellow lot is short term parking for Jet Blue - do you know if this lot fills up quickly? i'd hate to drive myself and find the lot full and then have to search for long term parking.

To my knowledge that parking lot has never been filled up since it was open - it is 6 stories parking garage with over 1000 parking spots.

Which terminal do we park at for Delta domestic flights? JFK to SFO.

If you mean the closest lot to VA terminal that would be the short term parking lot for Terminal 4 - aka Blue Parking Lot. It is open every day.

Parking at Terminal 8
We will be leaving from terminal 8 on American and I'm looking for the closest parking to the terminal. On some maps it shows the parking lot closed that is directly opposite the terminal. Other places indicates Red lot for parking. Where is the Red lot and how far is it from terminal 8? Thank you

The short term parking for American Airlines(Red lot) is open and functioning.
It is located right across the street from Terminal 8.

long term parking
Attempting to pay for everything in advance or for my daughter from here. Is there a way to use visa to pay for my daughters parking from my home or does she need to have the cash credit card

Unfortunately , there is no way to pay the parking fees in advance. She has to pay there with either cash or credit card(she must have it). E-Z pass is also accepted at any parking lot at JFK(excluding the private ones).

Is there parking near the JetBlue terminal? If long term parking is used, is the AirTrain service needed and is it direct to the terminal and is it fast and regular in schedule?

Jet Blue(Terminal 5) has their own short term parking lot. It is called Yellow parking lot.
If the long term parking lot is overfilled/closed then an additional backup parkings are used. From there there is a regular bus service(every 5-10 minutes) to Federal Circle Airtrain Station where the passengers can take Airtrain to the terminals.
