JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

There is security in the lot. You can park your car for longer periods(more than 1 month and I am not aware of any limits). From there take Airtrain(which is free) to T4(Virgin America's terminal) - it is only 10 min ride.

Parking Rate/Best Parking Location
Flying on Delta Int'l flight at 8:00am from Saturday to Saturday.. which is the best/closest lot and how much will it cost?

The closest lot for Delta(if you departing out of T2 or T3) is the Green Parking lot. If you departing out of T4(Delta also operates flights there) the closest parking lot is the Blue parking lot.
Either one will cost you $6/30min for a maximum of $33 per day.
You can use also Long term parking($18/day) and take Airtrain to Delta terminals(10-15 min free ride).

I will be staying at the
I will be staying at the Ramada Qns for a Delta flight arriving 6 am tomorrow. Is it easier to park at JFK overnight and shuttle to the hotel until the flight arrives?

Parking at terminal 4
I will be driving from Baltimore area to drop my family off to board on Pakistan Airline. What are my options for Parking for few hours. What's normally is the availability of such parkings. Is there any Shuttle to take from parking to the terminal, and time involves etc. Thanks.

You can park at short term parking lot(each terminal has it). No need to take shuttle. $6/30min.

Thanks for the info. How far is short term parking lot form the the PIA gates at T4? What do you think is a good idea unload luggage and passengers first at the gate or park first and then walk down to the PIA Place?

5 minutes walk. If you have a lot of bags it is better to unload them at departure level, park the car and walk to the terminal.

parking for early check-in
I am traveling on British Airways out of terminal 7 and plan to check in several hours before my flight, and then leave (coming back to board 6 hours later). What is the closest short term parking to do this quick in and out, and how much? Is there any metered parking for 15 minutes or anything like that?
or, Can I send my partner in with the bags and our passports to do all the checking in and just circle the airport, picking him up when finished?

Check again with British Airways if it is possible for you to check-in your bags that early.
The closest short term parking is across the street from T7(Orange parking lot). There are no metered parking spots.
Check again with the airline if somebody else may check your bags in.

arrival on aer lingus
i have to pick some one up who is flying from Dublin on aer lingus on thursday at 1pm. where can i park and how long should i expect it will take them to get through immigration and customs?
