First of all take the train to Jamaica Station. Once at Jamaica Station, you need to follow the signs to the Long Island Railroad. After that, and then you look at the train schedule for the Port Jefferson Branch.

From Penn Station, take the LIRR (Long Island Railroad)

My hotel is at 51st and Lexington. I've used the E at 53rd to get to the theater district before, but not to come in from JFK. Does this appear to be a quick and correct way? Thanks!
