Kind of tight - hope the flight from Istanbul will not be delayed further.

I am arriving on Jet airways from Tel Aviv at 12:15pm. I have a separately booked flight departing to LAX at 9pm. I would like to send my luggage from the post office located in JFK to an address in Boston since I will be moving there in a few weeks. How do I get to the JFK post office from here? I will need to send one bag media mail, and one parcel mail, is this post office full service, and will it let me send items using locked luggage as the container?

We are flying American Airlines. We are landing on June 29th from LAX to JFK @ 12:45 A.M. and then fly out to London at 8:45 a.m.
Since we are landing in the middle of the night, is anything open? Any sleeping lounges?
Is it Ok to sleep? Is it safe if there is no security??
Thanks for your input...

I will arrive from Helsinki to JFK on May 22 at 14.10 PM and my connection flight departs at 15.50 PM from the same terminal. I'm not US citizen, so I assume I need to go through customs etc at this point. Do I have enough time? What is the best way to find out about the information of my connection fligh gate number?

You have enough time - hope that the flight from Helsinki is not late. After you clear the immigration and customs, go to the third floor, clear security and look for the gate number at the monitors. Then just follow the signs.

I would like to know if there are luggage storage facilities in terminal 8, and where they are located.
Thanks in advance.

There is one located on the first floor, by domestic baggage area. The desk is shared with Hotel reservation desk.

Hi~I will arrive at JFK terminal 8 at 2:55pm, then take a 4:35pm connection flight to China at terminal 1. Is 1 hour 40 min enough?

Kind of tight. Hope the first flight is not late and you have your boarding pass for your second flight.

1.what about if I missed the connection flight? I heard that if someone missed the connection flight, the airline company will gave him another ticket for free. Is that true?
2. If I have the borading pass for the next flight, do I have to go through all the security check one more time?

1. If you have the two flights on one ticket(which I assume so) it is the first airline's responsibility to bring you on time for the second flight. And if the flight is late they will rebook you for the next connecting flight with no penalties.
2. Even if you have boarding pass you still have to undergo security check since you are changing buildings.

I am not sure about the two flights on one ticket thing. I booked the flights on Orbitz. They gave me the combination of flights. The first flight is operated by AA, then second is operated by China Eastern. Does that count "two flights on one ticket"?
Thank you

Usually the websites like Orbitz book their customers on one ticket.

we are arriving by Jet Airways from India at Terminal 8 and need to go over to terminal 3 to get a Delta airline connection to Rochester. We have about 3 hours to catch the connecting flight. Do we have to go through customs at JFK even though we are booking our check in baggage to Rochester? Will three hours be adequate to finish customs and go to terminal 3? How do we get to terminal 3 from terminal 8?

You will clear customs at JFK. Three hours is plenty of time. Take Airtrain on the second floor of T8, on track 2 to Terminal 3 . It is couple of minutes free ride.
