How long will it take me to get from Terminal 8 to terminal 7, and what is the best way to go ?

Thanks

Take Airtrain on track 2 and get off next stop. It is less than a minute free ride.

I have a flight booked on Delta from Prague to Spokane, WA. I go from Prague to JFK with a 2 hour layover before my connecting flight to MSP and on to GEG. I am assuming I have to collect luggage and go thru customs at JFK and then recheck luggage and go thru security again to get on my connection. Is 2 hours enough time to do all this? Usually I fly Prague - Paris - LAX and only have to deal with customs at my final destination so I am a tad nervous. Thanks!

You should be OK as long as the flight from PRG is on time. And, yes, you have to go through immigration, collect your luggage, go through customs, recheck your luggage, clear security and head for the departure gate for your outbound flight to MSP.I am assuming the second flight is also on Delta which is better.
The whole process should not take more than an hour.
Yet, if you don't feel comfortable with the two hour window, you can always reschedule your flight.

Call Delta, and tell you your problem, I had the same problem and they changed my flights without any fee.

Departing for London Heathrow on BA( T7) at 6.20pm. I think that is long enough, But do I have to go through customs/immigration with my luggage( or can I check it through to London from Halifax even although I am changing airline ?

Many Thanks

Alex

Can I buy an Apple iPad in one of the terminal shops?

I am flying in from San Francisco on Jet Blue Flt #648 ( a red eye) and the reservation says it lands at the International terminal, and I need to catch another Jet Blue Flight to Buffalo in Terminal 5. Question #1: Which terminal is the international terminal?

Question #2 What is the best way to get from the International Terminal to Terminal 5?

Jet Blue from SFO will land at Terminal 5. No need to change the terminals in your case.No need to clear even security again(as long as you don't exit the secured area)

Hi ,

My wife and Kids are travelling from Baltimore to India Via JFK on 29th May - Next Saturday . Just found out that the original Delta flight time has changed and now the Delta flight from BWI reaches JFK only by 7.30 PM. The connecting AIR INDIA flight is from Terminal 4 at 9.30 PM. I guess Delta reaches in Terminal 3 . Since the ticket is a thru ticket , bags are checked in BWI all the way to India .

1. Do you think there is sufficient time to connect to the Air India flight ?

2. How long does it take to go from T3 to T4 ?

3. What is the easiest way to go from T3 to T4 ?

4. What time does the AIR INDIA counter closes to issue boarding passes ?

5. Guess, they will have to go through security once again in JFK as they need to goto counter to collect the boarding pass .

Answers to the above will really help them in the connection . Thank you very much .

1. They still have sufficient time.
2. 15-20 min maximum.
3. Let them take Airtrain from across the streets at T3, on track 1 and get off next stop.
4. Every airline has different procedures but the general rule is 1hr(+- 15 min).
5. First they have to locate Air India counter(it is on the forth floor of T4) and after they obtain their boarding passes they will be directed to the third floor where they will clear security on the way to the departing gates.

Hi, I am booked on somewhat difficult connection flights by ONE airline. I will be flying from Boston, arriving LGA Thursday 1pm. Then I will be connecting to an international flight at 3pm, but it's at JFK Terminal 7. Am I going to make it if I don't check any bags? Since I will be beginning my journey at Boston, I will checked-in for both BOS-NYC flight, and NYC-international flight at Boston. Will the international flight at JFK wait for me since I will be checked-in for that flight? Thanks!

Wow, let me know if you make it:)
I don't know who book you , but it is cutting really close.
You said that you don't have any checked bags - other wise you have to wait for them at LGA. Usually the international flights are closing 30mins-1hr prior to their departure - check with the airline. And once you land at LGA don't waste time - grab an yellow cab and head towards JFK. It will take you 20-30 min to get there(depends on the traffic and at that time it kind of starts to build up). FYI - no airline will wait for you even if you let them know that you are running minutes late. Unless you are first or business class traveler that paid $$$$$ for the ticket but even that does not happen recently since the airlines are heavily fined($27000 per passenger) for any excessive delays.
Good luck!
