JFK to LA GUARDIA
Hi,
I will be landing at JFK at 2 pm and then I have a connecting flight at 6:30 pm from LA GAURDIA.
I have 2 Qs:
(1) Is the time interval of 4.5 hours sufficient to make the whole transition between the 2 airports; that is --> [customs clearing --> coming out of JFK --> boarding a conveyance for LA GUARDIA --> Getting in LA GUARDIA --> customs clearance again --> boarding the flight again from LA GUARDIA. So will 4.5 hours would be enough for this?
(2) What is the cheapest way to travel from JFK to LA GUARDIA taking the 4.5 hour transition time [in total] into consideration. I mean for travelling between the 2 airports i may have just 2 hours so what is the cheapest way to travel from JFK to LA GUARDIA if someone has 2 hours in hands?
Kindly address the above mention queries.
Thanks.
re:JFK to LA GUARDIA
(1) The time frame is plenty.(You do not go through customs in LGA- it is security clearance that you have to to undergo)
(2) Either take NYAS bus(located in front of each terminal;$13) or a taxi(~$30-$35).Travel time is ~20-30 min. You can grab a taxi right away while the bus is every 30 min.

JFK to LA GUARDIA
Hi,
I will be landing at JFK at 2 pm and my connecting flight is from LA GUARDIA at 6:30 pm.
I have two Qs:
(1) Is the time sufficient to travel between the 2 air ports; I mean I have just 4.5 hours to come out of JFK and then reaching LA GUARDIA and then boarding the flight there at 6:30pm. So are 4.5 hours sufficient for the whole transition?
(2) What is the cheapest way to travel from JFK to LA GUARDIA after taking the 4.5 hours time span into consideration? Means I will have just few hours [probably 2-2.5 hours] for transiting between the 2 airports, so what is the cheapest way of doing that?
Thanks.
fee of Taxi
I will arrive on June 24,2010 , please advise me about the fee of Taxi from JFK airport to Atlantic city.
Best regards.
Nabil
re: fee of Taxi
It would be very expensive($400 and up). That is if a taxi agrees to take you there.
There are buses leaving out of Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan pretty often to Atlantic City.

query
I am arriving on 31st may at jfk nairport at 6am by AI-101. I need a taxi for two to philadelphia at 9am.Are taxis available and how much would be the cost.
Local NYC taxis will
Local NYC taxis will probably not take you to Philadelphia and it would be very expensive. The best would be Megabus (stop is at 31st St.) or Amtrak train both from Penn Station. You can get to Penn Station by taking the NYAS bus from your terminal or Airtrain to Jamaica Station, transfer to LIRR or E subway to Penn Station. Amtrak has frequent departures to DC which stops in Philly. You can also check at the Ground Transportation counter when you arrive for possible shuttle service.
