There are 8 operating airline terminals At JFK Airport, Terminals 1 to 8. Terminals are located around the central terminal area (CTA). The terminals and parking lots in the central terminal area are divided into five areas.

Yes, it is.
You will arrive at T5 and depart out of T4. Both terminals are within walking distance(10 min). No way to do it within security. There is no outbound immigration formalities(besides checking the ID and visas by the airlines).

SAA is located at T4. Let her take Airtrain across the street from T3, on track 1 and get off next stop.

Transfer between Terminal 7 and Terminal 8
Hi - we fly into Terminal 7 and our friend into terminal 8 around 30 minutes later. We all need to travel into NYC together. Can anyone advise how long to walk from 7 to 8 and where we should meet??

There is no way to walk between those terminals - you have to use the Airtrain and it takes 10 min.
Good place to meet is by the coffee shop at T8, arrivals hall.

Please help someone who gets
Please help someone who gets lost easily! Coming in at terminal 3 (Delta) and need to get to terminal 7 (Qantas). I guess I will have to retrieve luggage first and take it to terminal 7.

Dear JFK,
I am arriving Sat. at 16.10 pm from Madrid, flying with American Airlines AA-5679. I think it arrives to terminal 7. Next flight is to San Francisco (with AA) at 18.10. Do I have time to do it? How can I swap terminals quickly?

You have time as long as Madrid flight is not late. Take Airtrain on track 1 and get off next stop . Your AA flight to SFO is out of T8.

How to get to Terminal 1 from Terminal 7
Hello from Los Angeles,
I will get off the plane from United Airlines(Terminal 7) and I need to get to Turkish Airlines plane in Terminal 1. What is the easiest way to do this?

Take the Airtrain across the street from T7, on track 2. You will be at T1 in 5 minutes. The train is free between terminals.

i'm flying into jfk 2 hours earlier than my partner on a 10pm flight, and want to wait around at the airport for him. is there a waiting lounge or cafe or something that i can wait at once i've picked up my bags?
