Delta uses Terminal 4 for some of its flights. The one from Bogota arrives at T3 though.
Delta has code share flight with Avianca which flight is operated by Avianca and arrives at T4(5:30am).
I think the flight you mentioned is the Delta operated(DL396).

what bus/train do we need to get from the airport to go to the empire hotel? we fly with virgin atlantic from london heathrow....
thanks!

Shuttles are available at Ground Transportation or Welcome Center counter. Cost - $18.50-$22.00 /passenger.
Or Airtrain to Howard Beach and then subway A to Columbus Circle - the hotel is 4 blocks away walking north on Broadway.

Hello I arrive in JFK at 4.35 from a flight from Miami. Is there enough time to get the flight at 5.29 to Zuerich (Switzerland)???
Thanks a lot.

I guess both flights are on American Airlines. Then you have a chance as long as the MIA flight is not late.

I am arriving from Delta flight 2340 at 7:05am and suppose to get to the El Al check in as close to 7am as possible. Will the airport continue my luggage from Delta to the El Al flight? If not, do I need to pick up my baggage and re-check it again? How do I transfer to term. 4 and where is the "train" that I heard about? How long do you think it will take me to get to El Al? Thank you!!

Most likely Delta will check your bags through - double confirm with them.
Cross the streets from T3 and upstairs take Airtrain on track 1 . Get off next stop(T4) - it is only a minute free ride.

I'll be arriving at 9:20 am from Chicago, departing at 11:45am to Dubai. Is that enough time to make the transfer?

It is enough time.

Hi, I am arriving at JFK the 1st of July from London on flight BA117 and my sister is flying in from Brussels on American Airlines flight AA 171 the same day. I arrive first at 11:35 She is at 12:35 and I want to meet her but don't know if we are at the same terminal or a different one. If we are at different terminals could you tell me how to get to where she is? Thank you Joan

Hi Joan,
You will be arriving at Terminal 7 and your sister at Terminal 8. You can take the Airtrain across the building and upstairs , on track one, get off next stop and proceed to Terminal 8, 1st floor. There you can wait/meet your sister.

Thanks that will help me alot!

I'm arriving on an American Airlines flight from Halifax/Canada on terminal 8, and have to connect to an TAM Brazilian Airlines flight on terminal 1. I have the following questions:
1) Can I get to terminal 1, from terminal 8, with out having to go through customs/immigration again, as in Halifax International Airport have a USA customs/ immigration?
2) Would AA be able to transfer my checked baggage to TAM?
3) Since this is kind of a 4 hours lay over, is there any shopping store inside the terminal 1?
