There are 8 operating airline terminals At JFK Airport, Terminals 1 to 8. Terminals are located around the central terminal area (CTA). The terminals and parking lots in the central terminal area are divided into five areas.

Yes, that would be enough time(as long as MIA flight is on time). Both flights are at Terminal 8. No need to clear security again - just look for the gate for Milan flight after you disembark the MIA plane.

Delta international flight operated by alitalia
I am flying from JFK to Rome tomorrow night, on Flight 8125, a Delta flight (which I purchased via the Delta website) but operated by New Alitalia. Do I check in at Terminal 2/3 (Delta) or Terminal 1 (alitalia)? thanks.

Since the flight is operated by Alitalia the check-in would be at Terminal 1.

This is the first time that I arrive in JFK I want to know how I go to the counter of Jet Blue to depature, because the same day come back to MCO. I stay 4 hours in the airport I pick up my nieto.

Hi,
I will be coming from Ukraine on Delta (flight 89) on July 9th. I should be in JFK at 2:30 pm. Then I have a connection flight No. 6517 at 3:55 pm from JFK to Syracuse, NY. Will I have enough time to check-in? Do I need to receive my luggage in JFK to go through customs or can I get it in Syracuse? What therminal and gate is flight 6517? How can I get there quickly after passport control and luggage pick-up (if necessary)? Thank you very much for your help!

You will be arriving at T3.
You will have to pick up your bags at JFK since this is your first point of entry in USA and you will pass the customs.
As long as flight 89 is on time you will make it for the connection.
Flight 6517 departs out of terminal 2 . Terminals 2 and 3 are connected.

Delta may change the gates , you have to look at the monitors after you get on the departure level.

I am coming into JFK on American 118 at 3:29pm Friday(terminal 8) from LAX 8/20 and have a 2hr 40 min layover before I catch my Jet Airways flight to Bologna via Brussels 6:10pm (Terminal 8). I will be checking in my luggage. Is this enough time to collect my bags from American and make my Jet Airways international flight?

Usually 20-50 min. It depends on the time of the day, how many flights are coming at that time etc ...
