Price list (as of May 1st,2010) for baggage storage only at the facilities at Terminal 1 and Terminal 4.
The prices are per bag, per 24 hours:
Up to 20" - $4

27" - 32" - $11
Other(non standard bags, skis etc) - $16

Hi, I am going to arrive
Hi, I am going to arrive from SFO with United at 07:03 Saturday, spend one night in Manhattan, and depart to Frankfurt with United at 21:40 Sunday. At which terminals shall I expect to arrive/depart? Which luggage storage location do you suggest to use between the flights? What is the fastest/cheapest way to get to Manhattan (around W 12th St, near to the river) and back to JFK?

Lost samsonsite bag
My daughter suitcase did not show up in New York, air france says they have no idea where it is. 8 days missing. I have called airport in bulgaria at sofia, they do not have it. Who can go into the storage area at JFK to look for it, any advice. thanks, Jamie

Since the AF is the only carrier that is involved then they are the ONLY people that will be able to trace the bag. Did you give them the bag tag ID number?

Keeping luggages in JFK
Hello? My team (23 people) is supposed to work as a voluntary service including medical service and summer school work in Haiti from July 22 to July 30. We are supposed to board at Incheon international airport and arrive at JFK airport at 20:00, July 22. Since we transit there, we're going to stay at a Hotel near to JFK airport and leave for Haiti the next early in the morning. Actually, we carry lots of luggage including medical device and presents for kids in Haiti. Since we transit and stay only one night there, we don't have to get the luggage out of the airport. Can we possibly leave the luggage at the airport please? We don't need to unpack the bags. Even, we must be tired from getting the luggage out of baggage claim if we should. If possible, we would like to get our luggage at the final airport in Haiti, would you tell me how to do it please?

Which airline will fly you to Haiti? It could be either AA or Delta - and I believe with both you can check your bags 24 hours in advance(I am 100% sure about Delta, not sure about AA).
Since you are coming on international flight you HAVE to pick up all your bags in order to go through US customs. Right after that recheck them in with the next carrier(that will fly you to Haiti).

Luggage storage at JFK T4 coming from T8
I'm arriving from London Heathrow Terminal 8 at 11 pm on Monday 12th and need to store my luggages for one night at terminal 4. How long does it take to go from Terminal 8 to 4 and how are they connected. If by train shuttle what is the frequency of the shuttle and duration of journey between both terminals? I need to do the reverse exercise on the following day pretty early in the morning.

If im comming from La Guardia to JFK on 28 july and then I want to leave my luggage in JFK - luggage store - for 5 days to go around the city that is possible.
I would be leaving from JFK on 5 august.

luggage safety
hi there,
we arriving from London into JFK then into NY for 7 days from termainal 7...is it easy to go to terminal 8? We intend to leave a suitcase of extra luggage instead of lugging it around NY...I packed too much stuff!!
And how safe is it to leave out luggage for 7 days as I understand from other comments this isn't a lock up facility.....can we be guarenteed our possessions will be untampered?

Hi there, we will be arriving on Cathy Pacific Airline on July 31 around 7am in the morning and will be leaving on Delta Airline the next day 1:45pm. so we only have over a day in the New York city and we don't want to take our baggages out of JFK in there are possibel. Do we check in with Delta in advance before it is regual check in time? I've read most of comments and thanks for providing this helpful and thoughtful services to all passages. I'm looking for seeing your words.

Delta can check you in 24 hours in advance which means you can do that on the day you arrive on CX at 1:45pm.
