E subway from Jamaica Station to Lexington/53rd and walk down to 48th St. is ok but not the best; a taxi will take you directly to the hotel, cost is $45+tolls+tip and certainly the safest.

ARRIVING 7/15/10 FLT 605 AT 9:10PM AND NEED TO GO INTO MANHATTAN (34TH ST. BTWN 8TH/9TH AVE) AND NEED TO KNOW WHICH TERMINAL WE ARRIVE IN AND DO WE TAKE AIRTRAN TO A SUBWAY STATION? WHICH SUBWAY DO WE TAKE?

We need to know which airline are flying on to tell you which terminal you will be arriving at.
You do have to take Airtrain to Jamaica station and then either LIRR train or Subway E to Penn Station.

Which airline are you on? Regardless, Airtrain stops at all terminals so take Airtrain to Jamaica Station and take either E subway or LIRR to Penn Station (33rd St. between 7th & 8th Aves.) and walk one block north and one block west to your destination. If you have luggage or bags take LIRR as trains have overhead racks and its faster and more comfortable than subway.

Is there a way to go from JFK to Metro North Harlem Valley line without going all the way to Grand Central?

No, you have to go to Grand Central.

You can pick up this line at 125th St. in Harlem, station is one block from the 4,5,6 subways.

Hello. I arrive at JFK airpot, Terminal 1, and I have to get the JFK Air train to Station C Federal Circle in order to get the Hotel shuttle. Can I take both, Howard Beach route and Jamaica Station route, or only one of them?. Where do I buy the tickets and what is the fare?.
Thank you in advance.

You can take either train(on track 1) - they both go there. The train to that stop is free.

What is the easiest route from JFK to the above address, single female traveller looking to use airtrain and then which subway lines/stations would I use? Where do I purchase the airtrain tickets?

Thanks

Hi, we arrive terminal 7 on Friday. We are staying at New Yorker Hotel opposite Penn Street. I understand we can take Air Train to Jamaica then LIRR to Penn Street.Could you please tell me if this is correct, where do we buy tickets and is it easy enough with a large case each? Thank you in advance.

It is Penn Station , not Penn Street. And you are correct - Airtrain +LIRR is the best route to get there. Buy the tickets(Airtrain and LIRR) at Jamaica Station.

i ARRIVE EMIARTES ON 19TH FROM DXB WITH CONNECTING FLIGHT TO SEATTLE ON AA ON TERMINAL 8
HOW CAN I REACH TERMICAL 8 DO I HAVE TO RECHECK MY LUGGAGE . MY WIFE IS NOT WELL CAN WE GET A PORTER

Take Airtrain on the third floor to T8.
You do have to recheck your bags either at Emirates connecting flights counter at T4 or at AA counter at T8.
You can get a porter at T8(not all of them agree to go to other terminals, since they are not obliged).

Please help me to locate the air train on track 2, terminal 4 that will take me to the terminal 3.
