need help with a question. I´m gonna go back to Sweden 7/23 with Lufthansa. I need to take the airtrain from Jamaica to the airport, what termial shall I get of on? How often does the trains go from jamamica til jfk?

Lufthansa is at T1; Airtrain runs every 5 minutes.

Would probably cost you well
Would probably cost you well over $100+tolls+tip, considering a cab to Newark Airport from JFK is about $90. You may want to look into NJ Transit-Morristown/Essex Line train ($11) from Penn Station which stops at Madison and local transportation from there to Drew. You can get to Penn Station by NYAS express bus ($15) from your terminal, or E subway ($5-Airtrain+$2.25-subway) or LIRR ($5-Airtrain+$3.50-LIRR "City Ticket" weekend fare) by taking Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station.

Not direct from any of the local airports. Jet Blue flies to Stewart but you'd have to connect in Ft. Lauderdale with a long layover!! Consider taking the Metro North-Hudson line train from Grand Central Station to Poughkeepsie and local transportation from there to SWF. Take the NYAS express bus to Grand Central from your terminal.

Taxi to anywhere in
Taxi to anywhere in Manhattan from JFK is $45+tolls+tip. Airtrain/Subway is cheapest &7.25. The A and #1 subways serve the upper west side. You pick up the A by taking Airtrain from your terminal to Howard Beach Station. If you need to take the #1 you can transfer at 59th St.
How to get to West side hostel
I will arrive in JFK by DL 8554 at 21:10, Jul 17, 2010. It is the first time to come to US, so please kindly tell me how to get to West Side YMCA hostel, add: 5 West 63rd St., N.Y. 10023, New York, USA by public transportation and taxi? which ones is better at that time?

Do i need a visa to change planes at JFK ?
Hi ,
I am an Indian citizen intending to travel to canada. Planning to take Air-india flight from New delhi to JFK , change planes and take a Delta flight from JFK to Montreal. Would i need any kind of US visa just to change planes from JFK airport ? I have a canadian visa but not any US visa.
